Ok i sent you psionin 5000 SMC. Keep up the good work. POS is up to you I just stated my thoughts. Still do the new announce thread when you fork this to x-11. Need to get the word out to the x-11 miners. Smiley will there be a total coin cap change at all?

Yeah, I understand about the announcement. I'm not sure about the cap, but 42 million seems like a good number, halfway between BTC and LTC.

Any news on the current developments psionin? Eta?

I've spent some time setting up a new development environment and porting the SMC solution to Visual Studio, which makes things like refactoring and debugging considerably easier. I merged the latest Litecoin code, which looks like a year of development on the Bitcoin/Litecoin side. A lot of internals have changed, including the network protocol. I've gotten it to build, but there is currently an issue with the version handshake message response from other nodes, probably due to the protocol changes, which I'm going to have to investigate. I think the X11 implementation should be easier compared to the changes done so far in this run, but there are still other things to do as well. No ETA, but I'm probably about a third or half way through to the next release. Overall, I think that things are going fairly well considering the level of funding (none).

That rocks sir. Thats a lot of good stuff on a crap budget. I'm sure at the very least some here myself included can donate some SMC to you for you trouble at the very least. send me a addy and i'll drop you 5000 smc. Post an addy for development in both smc and btc and i'm sure some folks will help you. I've been wih this from day one and seen all the bs when the original dev bit off more than he could chew and when he released the fork but didn't update the pools and exchanges and it almost died. I am happy to see its got a dev that does care about it and isn't too rushed or anything else.

X-ll will def brig it more people interested in it and get it some decent hash especially if word of its spread. When you are ready and pretty certain of a date make a new announce thread  a few day to a week before with the fact it's going to x-11 algo and how much block rewards if it changes or not and total cap if reduced at all. People will rent miners and what not to get ready to mine it. My opinion cap should be set some where between litecoins and bitcoins would be perfect. If it is gonna switch to pos at all and how much % pay out. 2-5% at the most again my opinion would be best if it does. Whatever decisions you make are what it is but please do the announce thing as it's like a relaunch and will get a lot of attention. Once that is done and its near the date everyone that likes this coin and wants it to off good should tweet the crap out of that announce and post it on reddit and where ever else they can. This action alone will get this on bittrex and mintpal as they look for this kind of activity. While its being promoted a few days before it happens people should also tweet to bittrex. That is the main way to get a coin on there. It may seem like a lot but all those things require a hardfork so you really should consider to do them all in one fork.

Again thanks for your efforts to keep this coin alive and healthy. Smiley

Sure, I can support the applied use of SMC, here's the address of my 100K premine wallet: SZPqH3Jq738KGUBzVkbyTa1WowuakJGrzJ. I also added BTC to my signature.

I stated my opinion about the PoS staking earlier, I think you may have missed that, but there are plenty of things to do to make this a good coin. (It's a discussion for another time, anyway)

small amounts too and that was exactly the same thing as mine but i mined on it. i stopped but for two days i got those tiny bits. the stratum must still see you as part of the hash and gave the tiniest bits it could to you. Keep mining that way with the data pull fro m the stratum. you get a tiny bonus coin once they all add up.

if you where on a pool then quit this can happen as you part of the shares come in after you left. i was on a pool with 7 asics mining. i stopped on there to point them else where and started soloming with one asic. for two days i got those "tidbits" for my portion of shares that later miners found blocks from. it will stop after a few days.

I wonder if it's because I used stratum in a p2p pool to detect the new blocks when I was solo mining? That doesn't make sense though since I was only using the p2p pool for detection, not mining. Idk.

Addition: i only used the stratum to detect the blocks for about 5 min while testing things out. I was still solo mining blocks during that time though. weird.

And they are all at the same time, and labelled 'mined'.

Does this coin have PoS or something? I solo mined this coin for about an hour yesterday over 12 hours ago, got a bunch of 32 coin blocks as I'm supposed to. Never pool mined. Today, I opened my wallet, and over the last 2 minutes, 2:46 and 2:47, with the same times in my TX, I received 'Mined' 6 TX for 0.02-0.05 SMC each. Why?

Nope, no PoS, not sure why that would happen. Has anyone else come across this during mining?
