Is mining dutch on the right chain then? I have been mining there for awhile until it quit awhile back and been mining again since it came back up! Just want to be sure i am not mining for nothing and all the coins i get are going into the right wallet on correct chain as well! Thanks

You mean a download for the blockchain database? Right now there are only ~250K blocks, and it doesn't take long to sync the wallet. However, this can be considered in the future.

Still going, although the help I was getting hasn't worked out well enough. Trying again.

Any update ?

Yeah the “billionaire” dev, Ver is cooking some nice gay code right now.  Word is, he moved up to a size 12 butt plug so he’s really dropping those lines on his vibrating chair.  Homos rule dude.  Well, like Africans who eat mud, they sadly only live to 50.  We gotta get all the rainbow  code out of this dangerous firecracker salesman homo ASAP.

Vlad - I see gay talent when I see it with my hairy brown eye.

Any update ?

Oh man, zero merits On a 7 year old sock , account.  That’s depressing.  Here’s 7 so you can look like you know important people like me.

Vlad - gib merits where merits need to be gibben

I don't thin anything needs to change as far as block reward or max supply. .5 coins per block is plenty low and hate to see smartcoin follow the lead of alot of these projects which are in a Panic to cut supply to bring the value of there coins up when like not even 8% of all americans are dabbling in crypto. Without proper supply, then of course they will be rare, but they will never be functional in the real world or to use day in and day out. Anyways just my thoughts. I have been mining the crap out of SMC on mining dutch and it works great! I think i have found the most blocks on MD BUT HAVE LIKE 1/8th of the coins as others mined before the halving haha

Yeah, I think it's best with a small emission. Right now the last release from a year ago has 0.25 SMC as the final halving amount that it would stay at indefinitely (before it continued halving past 0.25).

This might change a bit with a hybrid verification system (adding PoS as an additional layer) and requiring more than 0 transactions to make a block. Something like 1-2% emission seems to be optimal.

Hey I fixed the links, they should work now. The wallet is functional but the coin is mined rarely (with pauses for up to a few months), so consider that at this time a tx may not go through for a while. Looking at this now, though.

hello gentlemen ...i'm trying to download your windows wallet but neither file is found on your site. do you know when can i expect to be able to download that? thank you in advance

shoot, i'll keep looking for activity then. thank you for the link and for the heads up  Smiley

Actually it looks like the explorer wasn't synced, as there have been blocks regularly. I also figured out why the node wasn't returning a 'getblocktemplate' request when I tried to set up mining.

Working on a new block explorer, and then an exchange.

SMC can be used with the old wallet for now.

Overall it's looking pretty healthy. Under 30M total supply, very few new coins are added, most are several years old or more, and some could be lost.

Things are going well. I'm now having another person helping with things.

SMC is still on schedule for a release later this year.

I would like to do something useful with it, not just try to catch the alt pump. And if it is useful, then the value should stay.

Why can't I transfer SMC coins out of Yobit.net?
I see them writing your wallet under maintenance?
Is that true? When is it moved? What are your plans?

It's not my favourite thing given that Binance Smart Chain is so centralized, but some of the folks over at MonetaryUnit have created wrapping.services which allows for UTXO-based coins to be wrapped into tokens usable on that EVM blockchain. The result allows those UTXO coins to be used for things like yield farming and the like. Might be worth looking into for SmartCoin, especially if there are Cryptsy-recovered dev funds to allocate.

Not that I think this is a major technological innovation, but it gets SMC out there with some potential to be used as collateral in DeFi applications. Just a thought.

Is there a redemption service?

Yeah, you can unwrap after you wrap and redeem the coins back onto their own chain.
