It is easy to sell extra electricity back to the national grid as we are already connected to it. But how do we give this extra electricity to the buyer after creating a contract?
Great idea, but struggling to see how the logistics will work - perhaps we need permission and setup payment to the national grid to setup a channel specifically from your home to the buyer (if they will even allow it)?

I don't know much about energy business, but I just can't wait when era of cheap, safe and natural energy comes ( seems like never, lol ). We face many global challenges nowadays ( http://planetaryproject.com/global_problems/future/analytics/major-future-challenges/ ), and ecological one is one of the biggest.
It will happen, the question is when. Solar energy production prices are decreasing rapidly and several countries are heavily investing in this technology.If you are looking from personal edge, investment into self-sufficiency will control or hedge the costs of electricity. The part, where you are not self-sufficient, SunContract Platform can help to optimise the costs in this case.
I know not everybody have an opportunity to be self-sufficient, but surely has an interest to be more price optimised.

That is right, many investors must be really pleased with these service by Suncontract. I think it is really doing good because the Signature Campaign were extended and we all know what that means right? The project is a great success that the campaign will extend after the release.
Although the signature campaign is extended another month, the signature campaign prize is reduced, the yahoo reason reduces the signature campaign's reward due to the bitcoin price increase factor. I also hope that this ICO Suncontract Project will be as successful as other ICO

I have to say its difficult to complete such a complex system just by some contracts and blockchain.
In my opnion in this project，the key seems to be the designs, the constructs，the maintains of the electricity pool instead of the blockchain and smart contract.
It seems you are stating your perspective with short of knowledge from management aspects. When a system will be managed through blockchain technology, it may grow to next level of due to cost effectiveness and protection against illegal manipulations kind of characteristics of blockchain technology. When a business is focusing on its fundamental things to go efficient, it will get more opportunities to earn better against its competitors.In my opnion in this project，the key seems to be the designs, the constructs，the maintains of the electricity pool instead of the blockchain and smart contract.
I am sure suncontracts may bring industry revolution just due to adopting blockchain technology whereas its competitors may lack in that area.
In addition, the world is not just about management, and for this project, some of the obvious technical problems must be addressed first, and then the management problem.
You will need to provide us more info about your concerns otherwise we cannot address your questions. Especially country and market you are refering. We have a legal team who is helping us resolving local issues and experienced team from energy sector.
But please do not mix our platform with total grid management.
Guys I love the project and the iniative so far, but I have to agree much more info is needed on certain parts of your plan instead of all the groupies here who are hyping without any arguments or relevant content whatsoever.
I have some serious questions about how the logistics of such an P2P energymarket would work.
To make it as tangible as possible, please answer 2 very simple questions:
1 I have excess energy for sale from my solar panels. How can I sell kw/h's ok the market?
2 I have bought kw/h's on the distributed market. How will they be 'delivered'/credited by my energy provider?
A simple answer reflecting your vision on these simple mechanics would greatly help to clear u the potential of what you hope to achieve here!

Could you explain a little bit the mechanics of the token?
As I understand it people will use it to buy/sell electricity. If the token's value increases then electricity cost will increase making it not cost-effective. If the price for electricity then adjusts for increased token price then why does the token go up in value?
supposedly 1 token = 1 kw/h = $10. if the token goes to $100 then 0.1 token = 1kw/h.
OK but why would the tokens increase in value exactly?

we are developing a mechanism that will prevent exactly that. We have a working concept but due to latest copying of our Whitepaper and everything else we will not reveal more then that until it is fully working because many similar projects are just simply trying to copy/paste our ideas.
Tokens will increase in value with the demand but mechanism will make sure price in local currency stays the same. This mechanism is rather simple sollution but will the its work

Yes there is hard cap, 100,000 ETH. So if we reach hard cap then that is where we will stop raising ETHs and creating tokens

Nice project, I think this project is well-planned. All requirements will provide to developed the said project. And I think that, if the project was developed systematically, It will become popular to producers, consumers, and prosumers. This project was very interesting for me as a student.
