Will solar energy will still power my home during a power outage?

The answer is simple. If you are living on the grid and then power goes out, the grid system also goes out. Solar power will not serve as a backup generator. This happens so as to protect utility repairmen working to restore power. If electricity is backfed while utility repairmen are working on the lines, it could be dangerous or even fatal. As a result, your inverter knows that the grid has been shut off and shuts off the electricity generation that is driven from solar plants.

but the very good thing with this project is they survive and they are still working on it. how many renewable energy-related project still exist today? i believe, you can include this one as one of the few projects that made it throughout these years. it may be in downward trend today but with their continuous development on this project, at least, one can hope that one day they will be on the increasing side.

If your electricity supplier is not the partner of the SunContract platform, the surplus transfer is unfortunately not possible. The transfer of surpluses is currently only available with SunContract.

Yesterday we were at Dubai Expo 2020 where Gregor Novak CEO of SunContract presented the SunContract Marketplace as part of a high-level discussion joined in by other important speakers such as Franc Bogovič, Dubravka Šuica, and Jože Podgoršek. During his speech, Novak highlighted the importance of the SunContract Energy Marketplace not only as a great innovative business model but also as a great technical solution for creating self-sufficient and climate-neutral communities. One great example of how these works are the villages of Zavrate, where through community self-sufficiency included in the SunContract platform, we provide green electricity for all villagers, and a solar power plant at the Radeče Health Center, which will provide community self-sufficiency for Radeče.

Our first visit to the world-famous trade fair Dubai Expo 2020 is slowly coming to an end. During the visit, we participated in the international conference "Rural Areas in 2040: Addressing the Global Challenges of Rural Areas with Smart Villages" organized by MEP Franc Bogovič. At the conference, Gregor Novak, Director of SunContract, presented our energy market, which, among other things, is an excellent technical solution for creating self-sufficient and climate-neutral villages and towns. The conference was also attended by many other eminent speakers, including Dubravka Šujica, President of the European Commission, Jože Podgoršek, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development of the Republic of Slovenia, etc.
In addition to the conference, Gregor also visited the thoughtfully set Slovenian pavilion and attended a lecture on Food Tech Valley.

Radeče has become the first Slovenian town whose town centre will be fully self-sufficient in terms of electricity with the help of SONCE and SunContract, as they installed a solar system on the roof of its community health centre.

Blockchain technology has a wide variety of benefits the most common ones are, tokenization, shared IT infrastructure, trusted data coordination, and a build-in incentivization.

We are most pleased to see how the SunContract market is used to its advantage by those for whom it is intended. Among them are also producers of electricity from renewable sources, which are an important part of the operation of our unique energy platform.

Among them is also Janko from Idrija, who produces electricity with the help of a smaller, 190kW hydroelectric power plant. He mostly makes arrangements in the market on his own. He is very satisfied with concluding deals on the market. He says, however, that attention needs to be paid to market developments as electricity prices jump up and down and the right moment to sell needs to be captured.

Another successful event is behind us. On Friday at the international conference “Smart Villages for a Green, Digital and Resilient Europe”, we introduced our SunContract energy marketplace. Gregor Novak, director of SunContract, highlighted its unique technology and business model, which directly connects electricity producers with end customers and as such also provides excellent support to villages and communities to become energy self-sufficient and climate neutral.
The event was watched live by about 100 visitors at Rajhenburg Castle, and about 40 representatives of the Local Activist Groups, due to epidemiological restrictions, via canvas at a separate location. The event could also be watched live online.
We have also forged some new connections and acquaintances, which we believe will result in concrete future collaborations. Kudos to the organizers for this great event!

Have you guys not heard of the EnergyWeb Foundation? They host the EnergyWebChain. The first blockchain powered by 100% renewables? Some of the biggest energy companies in the world (including shell) are validating the chain. They are also trading renewables on a much larger scale than SNC. And straight from the grid.
