Great information guys. I was watching SUNCONTRACT at the beginnings and didn't thought that they will ever started trading p2p. But today when I look back I see I was totally wrong.
Now I have few questions if anyone can answer. I don't want to miss the train again.
1. How does trading looks like? Producer to consumer? Direct without middle man 100%?
2. Is deal closed with SNC or with FIAT?
3. Does producer need to exchange SNC on exchange or are they exchanged on your platform?
4. Do they have any plans for new EU markets in 2021 or they will stay only in Slovenia?
5. If yes will trading go cross border or you can trade only in country where you're located?
Have few more but let it be this for today.
Hi
Yes Suncontract is doing great even in this COVID19 situation.
Let me try to answer your questions.
1. Trading is done directly P2p. No middle man. Everything is arranged on the platform. (price, quantity of produced and consumed electricity,...) There is no middle man involved in trade.
2. You can choose how to pay for electricity, but settlement is done in SNC. If you choose FIAT it's exchanged on the platform and send to the producer.
3. Everything can be selected. You can hold SNC, you can withdraw them or you can be paid with fiat. In this case, the platform does the exchange function.
4. With new license plan is to expand in other EU countries. But legislation for the energy sector is hard and that is why SNC is not used in other countries already. But i believe that in near future some new market will be opened.
5. For sure some countries will allow cross-border trading but this is the decision of every market standalone. Platform surely allows this kind of operations.
I hope I answered your questions. If you have any more just write or join SUNCONTRACT Telegram group.
