It was launched again the next day using the excuse that mine pool was not ready. The difficulty adjustment algorithm was changed. There was big instamine. I sold my 2 blocks a few days after it was on market.

u dont understand. Why create new coin ? New coins are created every other day. A lot of them are similar to SUM (x11 / PoS), but none of them reach 200 pages on thread.

Most of the first 60 pages is about the problems of the launch process. Does this coin offer anything new? The reputation of this coin is tainted. Even the original DEV is not interested in this coin any more.

Logicoin might be one of the many X11 coins worth a look at. It has no premine or instamine. But it does not offer any original idea either.

u dont understand. Why create new coin ? New coins are created every other day. A lot of them are similar to SUM (x11 / PoS), but none of them reach 200 pages on thread.

Sorry all but actually I don't know why it sends so much data. But as you can see, it use port 11110 to send. I think it's because of 10% PoS, it sends so much information to other client. I'm setting up new computer to rebuild wallet to make sure that it's not because of virus in my computer. You can scan wallet, I scan it but it seems that no virus in wallet.

I'll give all new wallet soon.

save the electricity bill.....he set-up his account in april and hasn't posted 4 weeks later.

guess he is having a nice summer.

I mined 28k coins over a few days and was then staked another 10-15k. all sold since he ain't coming back. still don't know what the problem was with the wallet sending so much data out, but unless there was a bug that go onto my network, all the data it got was my DRK mining settings. Wink

But I think we will get on Mintpal one way or another. In my opinion it would be better to spend Foundation money for improving coin - for example hire a programmer to make better, professional-looking website and pay new dev for working on this coin Wink

I think the first priority is to have a dev who will take the reins and guide the coin...
Frankly speaking if an investor seeing the coin on MintPal will take a look here and will see the situation (a coin wout a dev) i have my dubts he'll buy even 1 SUM.
I'm sorry for the guy is trying to keep alive the multipool for SUM wout miners (i have respect for his dedication, trust and hardworking) but personally w a coin in such situation (wout the dev) I don't have any intention to point on SUM even half GPU. On the contrary stimes i have a feeling to sell evthing.
Can you imagine what it will be if a bug will stuck the coin at such point? Who will fix it? We r like on a ship at the mercy of wind and sea...
Wout a dev who is following the coin for me there is no mean to trust... no trust, no investors... no investors, no future...
We need a new and virtuos dev who will put back on the track this coin... then we will think to all the rest...
Going on MintPal in such situation we risk to fire up our only chance and the coin's reputation...

Why do you think price will skyrocket then? Why buy a coin without a dev?

Yes, but I wouldn't like just to bet everything on Mintpal. It's a very risky ground for many coins. After getting there many coins have few hours/one day pump and giant dump after that.
I my opinion we need to be prepared and don't let dump kill us. Mintpal is great thing but for ready coins. I'm sure we will have a new dev for Summercoin before Mintpal.
I will try as hard as I can to bring new DEV here in a week since today.
If anyone of You has idea, who could become DEV - let me know, I will write to that person Wink
