interesting idea!

so totally 1000*0.06%=60% coin will be sold at ipo?

what will happen if we do not have so many people to buy the 1000 shares?

how will you deal with the left shares, will you destroy it or paid to the miners?

thanks!

Are the names unique or do people send to an address and many can have the same name on a chat

The names are only unique for the current chat session.

Are the messages stored in the blockchain at least encrypted?

The messages are compressed and unreadable without uncompressing it first but not encrypted because the chat is public for everybody and not private.

Introduction Talkcoin

Most people who learned about Bitcoin look at it as nothing more than a currency, but the reality is that it's much more than that. At its core, Bitcoin is a new technology that allows everyone around the world to come to a consensus on who owns what without the use of a centralized third party. There are many different applications that can be built on top of this technology, and Bitcoin is only the first of many apps to come. Talkcoin uses the real innovation behind this protocol to create a new generation of cryptocurrency. Talkcoin is a new experience that will bring something new to the crypto world and beyond it.

Decentralizing the Internet

P2P chat.

Talkcoin starts a new generation of cryptocurrency as the first decentralized chat and voting system. Talkcoin is completely decentralized and the first to offer a true decentralized chat program that won't rely on a central server to deliver messages from the sender to their recipients and lets you communicate freely with anyone in the world without censorship.

Talkcoin is the first coin to have true decentralized blockchain communications.

We are interested in using the blockchain as a secure communications platform so people can communicate freely, securely.

Our vision is for Talkcoin is to build an open platform that helps people to communicate securely, anonymously or publically, without the need for any centralized servers or control by any one person or government.

Distributed Technology.

The most fundamental difference compared to many existing chat programs is that Talkcoin Chat won't rely on a central server to deliver messages from the sender to their recipients. Messages are stored in the block chain and frequent block generation (20 sec) means messages are delivered quickly and the network can handle more transaction volume.

Note: To prevent spam and flood, one coin is required to write a message. It can always be changed later if it's too expensive or too cheap.

Democratic and secure voting system made for everyone

In Talkcoin,  the money supply is continuously decided by a true democratic and secure voting system, everybody can vote, that is not limited to miners. Each user will have to send coins to vote, so nobody can vote millions of times and get the block reward to whatever direction he wants. Voting takes place twice per week.

Namely, users can vote the amount of coins to be given to developers in each block that they found. This policy allows better communication between community and project development team. If you want to give 1%, 2% or 3% you choose! The default value is 1%. Note: you also can reduce donation to zero! Sad

Secure Hash Algorithms NIST SHA-3 candidate algorithms

- Implementation based on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) publication.
(cf. http://nvlpubs.nist.gov/nistpubs/ir/2012/NIST.IR.7896.pdf)

The NIST hash function competition was an open competition held by the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to develop a new hash function called SHA-3 to complement the older SHA-1 and SHA-2. NIST selected five SHA-3 candidate algorithms to advance to the third (and final) round: BLAKE - Grøstl (Knudsen et al.) - JH - Keccak (Keccak team, Daemen et al.) - Skein (Schneier et al.)

NIST noted some factors that figured into its selection as it announced the finalists:
•   Performance
•   Security
•   Analysis: "NIST eliminated several algorithms because of the extent of their second-round tweaks or because of a relative lack of reported cryptanalysis – either tended to create the suspicion that the design might not yet be fully tested and mature."
•   Diversity: The finalists included hashes based on different modes of operation, including the HAIFA and sponge function constructions, and with different internal structures, including ones based on AES, bitslicing, and alternating XOR with addition.
