Wait a minute, seriously this is happening and I don't see Yonni making a single post about it on any of his social profile? I hope I am not missing his twitter handle https://twitter.com/yoniassia

Or is it because they want to keep this event under the radar a bit? It would be interesting to know the proceedings from this meetup. I hope the team would be kind enough to update the forum over here just as you announced it.

I am quite skeptical about all this regulations and existing institutions getting into the digital space. I have a feeling they are just getting aboard to hijack the whole space once they have full control of it. Take a look at the intrusion from PayPal. We all know how PayPal can restrict users funds for very long time. I just hope we get to know the clear terms of how this will benefit the crypto industry. I feel we are giving them the power again.

I get where you are coming from mate and in as much as I am happy about this I don't think there should be any fears with regards to this. I mean, let's test the waters and see where this takes us. Most crypto enthusiats have always been hoping for real world adoption and now there are plans in the pipeline to adopt it. I would say the crypto community opens up and and embrace this change as well.

Pretty pumped to see the video of the talk!
E-toro partnership and listing soon? Wink

Feeling is mutual mate, Obviously team can share any information about such partnership with Etoro with regards to listing on its platform but hey we've been here for quite a long time to know how most of these connections lead to. I am keeping an eye on this thread to see how this project unfolds considering the fact that the real world seems ready to be enveloped into the crypto space

I am looking forward to hearing what will transpire during this meeting. Is the representative of Tagion representing as an individual or as a team member of the project to discuss Tagion. Their last AMA was quite helpful and talking about such a project like this will answer many questions that folks might have in mind.

Whatever be the case, it will be worth knowing where the world is heading with regards to the system of payment.

Thanks, Criptix.
We're hoping to get a recording of the panel made available by the organisers and His Highness the Sheikh of the region.
This is one of the few in-person events happening currently, with very good line-up of speakers and topics.
We cannot further comment or disclose on the question you asked, I hope you can understand.

I am following up on this discussion very keenly as I believe this industry has done a great job persisting on the course of making cryptocurrencies as a mode of payment in real-world businesses. Another thing that is of interest to me is the fact that there would be the representative of Tagion Project to share their view about how the future of digital payment is going and how Tagion is going to contribute to this course.

“Cryptocurrency: An Enforcement Framework”, released on 8 October by the US Department of Justice (DoJ), is an important document for anyone with a project in the open finance field. Despite what in all likelihood will be a Biden presidency, DoJ is not expecting to change its stance markedly with the change of administrations when it comes to cryptocurrencies and non-fiat banking. Thus, the document gives guidance for how the new administration will determine the legality of a given project.

As mentioned previously, we at Tagion are taking a long look at the framework, and we’ll give our views on it by examining each of its three parts.

Since DoJ focuses mainly on the legality of any endeavor, titling Part I as Threat Overview is not a surprise, and it reads somewhat like a SWOT analysis. There is little rah-rah! enthusiasm shown for crypto. Likewise, there is no overbearing fight-to-the-death imagery from the sword-bearer of the fiat system in America. This document is a cold-eyed look at the threats posed to the current legal system after a dispassionate overview of how the technology (mostly blockchain-oriented) works. There is little new, but there are examples given.

Moreover, DoJ does point to legitimate uses of crypto. As Securities Exchange Commission and DoJ statements are of vital importance to the industry, including to us here at Tagion, the following statement is of the utmost importance:

Whatever the overall benefits and risks of cryptocurrency, the Department of Justice
seeks to ensure that uses of cryptocurrency are functionally compatible with adherence
to the law and with the protection of public safety and national security.

At Tagion we’re paying close attention to the next chapter, Law and Regulations, and how they’ll affect us world-wide. We’ll report on that next week!

#FinTech revolutions of the early 21st Century are now bringing about a qualitative leap.   Moreover, open finance systems are now on the verge of being mature enough to replace the #fiat system as solidified under the Bretton Woods agreement.

Hi @rat03gopoh

Thanks for pointing out some of the issues we have with Ambassify. We are constantly working on making the project as fair and transparent as possible. That is why we manually monitor input and make random control rounds.  Last week we discovered another bug that was exploited. The points were deducted and distributed evenly to the other members of the bounty hunters. I have forwarded your comment to the project responsible and would encourage you to keep reaching out to us with other issues. We appreciate every help we can get to make our ambassify program as fun and fair as possible.

Signature designer - start @$10 - PM me!
I'll comment on your marketing.

Marketing via ambassify won't get enough viewers due to poor detection, the system is unable to ascertain whether the task is actually being done, whether your social media posts are actually being shared by participants. Points are added automatically by just clicking the link provided and then closing the new tab that appears.

I've followed your bounty on the ambassify platform. I found some bugs that you may not have thought about. I sent bounty feedback on one of your assignments in the 1st round on this issue, I don't know if you actually read every fedback that was sent on that assignment.

After 2nd round, I noticed that the bug hasn't been fixed, I announced it publicly in your telegram group and I'm surprised that you think it's not a bug (you think that the point I got from the task that hasnt been completed). Then I proved it by increasing points without getting new assignments. And at that time, my point was made back to the beginning. Since then I decided to quit your bounty program and stop supporting this project. Actually there were several PMs from other participants who asked how I got the points briefly but I didn't tell him because it will be more busy for you later because he clears the cheating participants.

I just summed up this with a confused mind that:
you're too confident that your system is good, but its not good enough.
You haven't thought about giving the bug hunter anything more valuable than disappointing him.
With a policy like this, other bug hunters (hereafter) won't bother telling you because they know they won't be valued.

I hope your marketing system will be changed to the manual way soon.
Good luck with this project.

We have run tests for the Tagion network and saw that we can achieve 20,000 throughputs per second, at a speed of 3-5 seconds.

The Visa network achieves max 65,000 throughputs per second, at speed of 1-3 seconds.

Tagion network may be on track to hit that number of throughputs. U can rightfully assume that it is capable of doing even more. But for this to make sense, there should be a user base onto it transacting actively. Which I do not see happening for a simple albeit unpleasant reason: people do not care and pay no respect to Tagion network because this noob network is not even on anybody's radars.

Good point - and that is why we need more attention around the network. Tagion might be super fast, but also super useless if there are no nodes on the network Wink
We have started a bounty hunter program and are on track to gain more traction - but we would appreciate any help we could get in making Tagion more of a household name.

Any way we could get you involved?

Thanks for the support @amorejaz. We certenly don't plan on staying a start-up project, having released our AlphaOne Test Network already, we are working towards AplhaTwo and also have a track for the first applications that are build on top of Tagion.

Having set that @Ive Gone Parabolic has a good point, and we need to work hard to get peoples attention. We might end up having the best network in the world from a technical view, but a super cool network with very few nodes is not worth much Wink So, we are also trying to gain more attention and traction. Any help in that regard is appreciated Wink

Where would you recommend we spent more time telling about Tagion?

dont assume that they will be forever noob network and that nobody even care to check out on them. every popular network starts from nothing. looking at their whitepaper, they made effort to make a comprehensive paper. much better than most actually.
the throughput rate will only be tested in actual scenario, i agree with that. but lets give them the chance to show their capability. not many projects can enforce their goals according to their timeline. and it takes time to attract users. if they will be in operations for more than couple of years, and still they can't manage to get enough users, then maybe the tagion team should re-assess their business tactics
