A new check point would be good also. Like where you hard code in the hash of block 1,000,000 into the wallet.

Does the wallet not need to be updated just for heartbleed bug or similar things?
2 years seems like a long time to not update a wallet.
If anyone is willing to update the wallet without damaging the credibility of the THC we are open to looking at it. We would test it for a short period before release.

We need any security issues fixed. I believe heart bleed was fixed with the upgrade that happened last time.
What I would want to see if the PoS fixed! I'm not sure how to do it though.

Just fired up the website permanently hempcoin.org. We linked to the working block explorer.
Looks like THC is riding HEMP. THC is the original NO PREMINE Coin.
We are open to ideas. We do not want to change the wallet that would warrant any type of fork. The code has run perfect for some time leaving no room for suspicious hoards of coins. Hempcoin remains true to 100% authentic.

It comes with the possibility of even more free hosting if needed. I'm thinking I will host the HTML5 hemp cash wallet there. @fartbags told me it cost $300 a month to host before it was shut down due to these costs. I'm peer reviewing the code right now. I will try to make optimizations so it can handle more users for cheaper.

i think soilcoin would be a better fit. Since where dealing with plants.
the Destiny team did a pretty successful swap to Expanse assets. and if they have any chance of delivering what they promised, swapping to EXP instead may be a better choice.

as far as i understand EXP is a clone of ETH, with a more grass root marketing and distribution. so anything that ETH implements in the future EXP should be able to port over. DES chose EXP for swap because of that, and DES is the token on the EXP platform.

Staking will be fixed one day. The current plan that everyone seems to be happy with is moving to the Ethereum 2.0 code base (which doesn't exist yet). It's a 100% Proof-of-Stake model. That means there is only about 6 to 12 months of Proof-of-Work mining left.

I will. If anyone want to help out we will need a new blockexplorer and other things like a PoS mining pool that will work with Ethereum 2.0.

Mining this coin with CPU or GPU would work well since the mining difficulty is so low.
Another option for mining this coin would be to get one or two of these cool new little USB Scrypt ASICs

It started to sync by itself this morning. I am learning as fast as I can with this stuff. It is nearly as complicated as the building automation software I work with. I have three active nodes and am about 1/3 thru loading the blockchain. I think I mentioned that VPN coin has beveloped a method to download and install the blockchain in one file. I think it uses either .zip or .rar.
