I don't think it was DDOS.
Most probably more load than it could handle for a new coin.
Which is better imho, to spread the load equally if you can, to all available pools. I believe that every pool has great potentials and we should all help every service that rises during a new coin's life.
The services (pools, merchants, etc) are what makes a coin alive and later on, a success.

What happened? That's why it's important to spread hashrates around the net.
When you have one whale pool, it's easy to DDOS.
Make sure to spread the hash rates across multiple pools.

can someone explain why my gpu is hashing 6M average but im only running 63C when i mine cgminer it runs at 75C average on other coins my mem and clock speed are set to what i normaly set them to.
this is my first time seting up ybcminer so i hope i did it right
this is my bat for a single 280x im getting 6Mhash

that's scrypt jane dude, it's always cooler and consume less power.
hashrate is so high due to low n factor. while n-factor increases, your hashrate decreases.
ok but doesnt that mean im not running at full potential for my gpu. can i increase the core clock safely?
You can overclock as much as you want but remember - it's the vddc you have to be careful with! If you can go 2000/3000 with core voltage it's no problem at all, your card will not burn. But if you increase the vddc to much it will burn

I got my payout from thor.zeuspool.com, everything works good!
