This is my plan as well. I hold a little over 75k (after staking for a while). I will run a MN on my pc at home and stake the rest.
I have no Android, so I can really have one MN anyway. Grin

Masternode should not be exclusive. 10 K TX is reasonable price for MN.
Masternodes are here for signing transactions. They should be cheap...

I think it does help with securing the network though. I am not sure what the negative aspect is of a lot of masternodes.
