Ubiq successfully hard forked last week and as a recap, we activated 3 Ethereum hard forks (Byzantium, Constantinople & St. Petersburg) in one shot as well as amended a fix for uncle reward calculations. All these changes were consensus level (hence the reason for a hard fork) upgrades. @xocel has started working on Dusk which will be a new node and wallet UI to replace Fusion. This is all brand new code but will tie in well with home Raspberry Pi nodes. Below is a screen shot.

Tornado Cash

The latest Ubiq hard fork has allowed us to start experimenting and implementing some projects on our network. One of them is Tornado Cash which enables a Zero Knowledge privacy solution for Ubiq. When used properly and with multiple user participation, it allows for a mixed anonymity set and unlink-ability similar to Zcash shielded transactions.

I will look to make some modifications to the upstream project in our own repository to tailor it for Ubiq. This will probably start out as CLI usage before having an integrated web interface.
