I think a name change from URO to something like NITRO (for nitrogen) would greatly help with credibility.  URO sounds too urological like "urine" and makes some people think it's a joke.

i honestly think nitro sounds way more like a joke than uro.

And finally look at the video of Nile's homepage, it's a youtube video and what logo do I see on a piece if equipment in a sewage process treatment plant?

What a forward thinking scam, even sneaking into a sewage processing plant and slapping their logo on it lol there is even more equipment shown later too with that logo

Forget-about-it

One should always be skeptical. I'm still skeptical but I've bought some because, as you point out, this appears far more legitimate than most coins. The reason one needs to be more skeptical in a case such as this is because of the magnitude of the claims and promises made. What this coin wants to do is a pretty momentous, far-out goal and it is hard to believe at first (especially because of how many scams do take place here) so of course it needs more substance than the usual coin to back it up.

Well I'm not naive to 100% think it is going to work but people seem to think having a grand idea or a business plan that may ultimate fail constitutes a scam now too. I'd rather invest in a failed idea than a successful con.

There is NO Freedom without Privacy
I think it's really great that these fertalizer companies are saying fuck their customers the farmers and giving millions of dollars to crypto miners and investors.

To create a crypto backed by shit they could have done an IPO and sold it for the price of shit.

If they wanted to create buzz they could have given URO out to their customers, the farmers, for free which would create adoption by the very people URO is intended for and allowed the poor farmers to profit

They could buy up all the vastly undervalued URO on the exchanges to cut the losses they are going to take giving out free Urea

Instead they are giving Urea away for pennies on the dollar and all so crypto miners and investors can get filthy rich. URO foundation are a bunch of swell guys for giving away all that wealth to strangers around the world that have nothing to do with their business. Fuck all those poor farmers, show me da money Uro foundation  Undecided

Clearly you have shit for brains too because feces is not even a component of Urea.

wow that really clears things up...this shit coin's scam isn't premised on feces. It all makes sense now Shocked

Am I the only one who finds it bizarre how people here on btctalk in general trust the word of a 1st post dev when they say they will be implementing a gimmicky anonymity feature in a coin in 2-3 weeks with absolutely no proof whatsoever yet we have seen in this thread copies of contracts, agreements, business licenses, employee names, linkedin profiles, a youtube page for Milesh Nair going back to 2009 that has videos about commodities in his playlist, GES listings on numerous 3rd party commodity sites, archive.org snapshots proving its existence at LEAST back to 2008, photo numbers, street address, a detailed analysis of the Urea and commodity industry...

....and yet many people STILL think Green Earth Systems is not even a real company!

Is this truly kookoo land? I know some are fudding but I'm disappointed how many other seemingly rational people with a decent posting history is so skeptical.

That document could easily have been done in photoshop.

This is all more convincing to me than that document, although I am sure there are ways this entire thing could be fabricated.

Huge sell wall at 0.2

somebody is anticipating something??

All these huge sell orders high up in the book (>0.01 btc) make it look like there is a lot of sell resistance, but below 0.01 btc there is hardly anything..

0.2 btc is a very simple calculation

number of URO =  1,000,000

worldwide yearly production = 184,000,000 tonnes

Therefore world market is 184 times bigger than URO supply

take the lowest trading price ever on Bittrex since launch....say 0.0025 and multiply by 184 = 0.46 btc

so 0.46 btc is the potential price for each URO which makes sense because 1 tonne urea is approx $300.....at current bitcoin price of $625, 0.46 btc = $288 (close enough to the true price of 1 URO)

obviously this is a theoretical calculation. 100% of the world market will not be using URO for buying/selling urea in 6 months to a year....50% would be a conservative bet which is 0.23 bitcoin.......I'm putting my sell orders up at 0.2 bitcoin which 1 URO will hit before January 2015 Smiley

In 5 to 10 years (once 100% of the world market uses URO) the price per URO will be 0.46 bitcoin assuming bitcoin price remains at $625 which it won't....you get the idea though

lolwut just cuz the math works doesnt mean its right

I really don't get this:

1URO=1 mtonne Urea=$300

1BTC=1000URO=$300000

Why would the companies involved simply not buy up URO?

 Roll Eyes
because then they would have to give them selves the money, no point in circulating the money between the companies themselves, that's just retarded

URO needs private investors like us to help establish a true price otherwise they wouldve just created a premine coin for themselves which they didn't
