The coin has a future, and it is causing them fear, which is why they are here.

If I hated a coin I sure as sh!t would not be on their thread. And if a coin was "dead" I think I could find better things to do than kick a dead horse. (image of the village idiot(s) just came to mind again)

I'm championing "decentralization" which the devs of this coin are giving a bad name for by lying and continually misusing the word. A DECENTRALIZED CURRENCY THAT ONLY HAS CENTRALIZED SERVICES THAT ARE CLOSED SOURCE BEING REPRESENTED AS DECENTRALIZED IS ESSENTIALLY A SCAM

The market is a collective sentiment of all buyers and sellers. Both prices and staking rate show a very strong support for Vericoin at the moment.

I don't know but it seems I would rather trust the whole collective rather than some random stranger on a forum thread...

From here forward I will use 'we' as in 'crypto'

We have the ability, to undo unjust massive criminal actions.
We have the ability to stand up and fight for the rights of people.
We have the ability to make ground breaking decisions for the positive side of things finally.
We have the ability to CHOOSE if we do not like something and move on.
We have the ability to let the people determine the fate of when an exchange when they ever so blatantly disregards their own statements regarding security, by choosing to not use them.
We have the ability to not let a thief become a centralized , determining factor of a project.
We do not have to take a beating from others lacking judgement when so many could/would have been affected.
We do NOT have to mimic and or follow in the footsteps of others every move , just because 'they' would or wouldn't because they were the 1st to create an idea or movement. (yes I am implying BTC here)

We are in a revolution, and revolutionary progress, is not simply not following an old path, it requires leadership , that make fast, appropriate and responsive decisions that would affect masses, both good & bad.

I for one am proud, that the team involved with VRC, had the moral capability to step outside the box that 'some' seem trapped in, to make a difficult decision.

Walking behind others will never lead you down a new path where evolution is detrimental to success.

You know what's funny? Price doesn't mean squat right now. No actual adoption of VRC has caused the price to rise. It's only profit seekers speculating on the functionality vrc is trying to offer. But as I pointed out vrc is dressed up with closed source centralized services which anyone with any sense would avoid like a plague.

Problem is, cryptoland is a place where criminals and hackers reign. The public likes less regulation, self-servicing and freedom to move their money, but hates unsolved crimes. Cryptoland has to decide whether "free market" means criminality or freedom. If we were to take seriously the underlined threats of your statement below, I guess we already know the answer, don't we?

You know whats funny...all those days and many many many pages in this topic there were fudders keep talking this coin down. And what happened...it raised. How empty they must feel right now hahaha.

What a community...i have never seen a community like this and i'm gonna buy more of VRC...now i know for sure it has a dev team who are willing to FIGHT for their community and not hang their heads because of all the fud.

Actually Veri is rolling out a wallet that you can load directly with fiat (cough centralized service cough). Sounds just like paypal if you ask me.

If the public in general wanted the functionality of vrc don't you think they'd just use paypal?

Paypal is established and trusted whereas these devs are just some guys in whoknowswhatcountry. Yeah the general public is really going to trust that.

You don't get what crypto offers. IF you take a decentralized currency and try to dress it up with a bunch of closed source centralized services it defeats the purpose. So again why wouldn't they just use Paypal instead of the paypal of the alts?
