Hey Guys!

There is a new video showing how to use veribit, it is the guys first time, but i think he does a really fantastic job and it is much more easy to see on how to use the veribit feature, compared with the only other video of this sort available.

If you like it, which i am sure you will, please hit the 'Like' button and maybe  give him a little tip for his good work. (i tipped him 40VRC).

This is the kind of action we need to help spread the good word of Vericoin and help reach the masses!

Many thanks.

Nearly all alt coin prices have gone down possibly because of BTC prices going up too

truth=(true?true:false);
Whales are the ASICs of trading.  Scrypt tried to solve the problem with sha256, but they found a way around it. Is there a coin impervious to price manipulation?  VeriCoin 2.0?  Price stability is more attractive to merchants, as well.

I pulled all my VRC out of Mintpal to stake until Mr. or Ms. Whale finishes their business Smiley

If you don't want the price to fall, stop selling.

Scarcity increases price & demand.

It's really just to condition your response...

Step A:
Buy Vericoin until it reaches 50 to 55k.

Step B:
Sell Vericoin until it reaches 40 to 45k.

Step C:
Repeat steps A and B a few times.

Step D: (small investor)
"I've seen this before every time it goes to 50 to 55k it drops to 40 to 45k."
a) Small investor sells.

Step D: (big investor)
"I've conditioned the small investor and he will sell me his coins at 50 to 55k because he thinks the price is going back down to 40 to 45k."
a) This time the big investor buys.

Step E:
The price rises and cuts through 55k, 65k and 75k like there was no resistance at all.

Wtf is happening, did I miss something?

Whale attack!  Smiley

It's annoying but there is some whale pushing things about throwing up walls on either side. It's a bid to get cheaper vrc
Always entertaining seeing these, and as soon as it hits 41k the 29BTC wall disappears and several 5-10BTC buys are initiated.

the 103 BTC sell wall at 45 for a moment was also entertaining

That is probably that groups entire position.  Trying to use it to gather some cheaper.  Good thing is it isn't that big at all in the scheme of things over some time.

Has there been any communication with Max Keiser to be a guest on the show? That would be huge.
Chris Pirillo has been a solid host and thanks to JOEL for making that happen!!

can this be confirm by the vericoin team? it's seem vericoin getting good exposures lately. i think it's a very good coin to get an article at coindesk and keiserreport.

Wtf is happening, did I miss something?

People are trading around positions. Nothing is happening. Technicals converged with some other stuff, and a lil buy wall , then sell wall, then buy wall. Someone was manipulating the price around a bit.

Not sure what to make of it, normal trading, just a bit low volume right now, so spikes up n down happen.

The good news is, usually people who make these big moves are 1 or 2 large players, the people who take there place are often small bids that span many smaller investors.

Interesting point about the advantages of VeriBit vs the argument that it puts sell pressure on the VeriCoin market.

VeriCoin is a currency, one of it's major functions is to be spent like one.  Without VeriBit, it would have very little market penetration relative to Bitcoin like all the other Alt-coins.  Ultimately at this point if you are going to spend your VeriCoin at many places you would have to exchange it for BitCoin.

Now, would you rather someone wait for a peak and sell some significant percentage of their VeriCoins for BitCoin, or do small sells as needed, for purchasing things in BitCoin?  Which would be better for the value and growth of VeriCoin?

Basically you answered the question already. When Vericoin can be used as intended, like a currency, it's value will be based on true demand instead of p&d antics or other crypto specific unnatural price influences. Veribit may lead to a steady price in the end, but I think some sort of auto market correction is good for the short term , it helps to prevent the market overheating and might mitigate the effects of P&D groups at least a little.

Getting Vericoin out of the crypto realm and into the real world is paramount to it's success. An increase in real world micro purchases are one of the things people are predicting for Bitcoin. In my opinion Vericoin is better suited for that.

My suggestion is to focus on developing services to get Vericoin out to the general public. Focus on ease of use and security. Skip the anon hype, there will be a true demand for anon coins but also for a 'regular' coin with a focus on useability. Vericoin is a serious contender for litecoin's place, basically Vericoin offers everything (and more) than Litecoin has to offer.
