Hey when I participated the ICO I gave my VRC wallet address, are all my VRM going to be sent to this address?
I'm getting confused with the VRM wallets...after their launch I will need to transfer my stake into the VRM wallet I guess...please clarify this to me...
Yes.

Export the Private key from the VRC wallet (File menu > Export private key > select address)
Import that key into the VRM wallet. (File menu > Import Private key)

As a preparation everyone who was on testnet 1 or 2 will need to delete all Verium testnet blockchain data including wallet.dat. Feel free to take testnet clients down anytime, supernode will go down tomorrow.

Exchanges news?

..like bright metal on a sullen ground.
I'm trying to get Verium wallet to run on linux and am running into a problem.

After I installed and tried to run the wallet I get:

Quote
./verium-qt: error while loading shared libraries: libicui18n.so.54: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

So I googled around and "libicui18n.so.54" seems to be in ICU (International Components for Unicode library)

So I tried to install ICU with:
Quote
sudo apt-get install libicu-dev

but still I get the error that libicui18n.so.54 is missing.  I am retarded when it comes to linux so any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have two options: You can compile from source (which is easy-- make sure you have the proper dependencies and go to /verium, run qmake verium-qt.pro, then make), or you can link libicui18n.so.54 to your current libcui18n.so library that you have installed (or install version 1.8 of that lib).

Thanks for your reply.  I am a noob with linux & github but I tried to download the source code from the repository and use qmake verium-qt.pro and got an error:

Quote
Project MESSAGE: Building with QRCode support
Project MESSAGE: Building with UPNP support
sh: 1: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/bin/lrelease: not found
Project ERROR: Unknown module(s) in QT: webkit webkitwidgets

I also spent a long time searching for the way to link libicui18n.so.54 to libcui18n.so but couldn't figure it out.  I guess I would use something like:

Quote
$ ln -s /full/path/of/original/file /full/path/of/soft/link/file

Could you suggest some specific commands to try in linux terminal to do this?  Much appreciated!!

Is there command for viewing my hashrate in vericoind? Like gethashespersec in ltc?

just added it to source in getmininginfo in addition to the other stats in UI, this will be included in mainnet wallet.
Thank you!

OK, congrats, now there is eta, and any info about how much fund you raised? Whats the ico price?

We raised 3,932,965 VRC, of which half is permanently staking in the VeriFund Endowment address (https://chainz.cryptoid.info/vrc/address.dws?423762.htm) of which only the staked interest will ever be spent.

The price of the ICO was 6 VRC per VRM for the first 2,100,000 VRM sold, and 10 VRC per VRM for the remaining VRM. The effective BTC per VRM sold was roughly 100k satoshi per VRM, since the price of VRC was higher in the first phase than the second phase.

Also, where will the Vericoin COME FROM in a swap? and where will the Verium go?

Are the devs going to swap it from the ICO funds?

... I see the swap function is built into the wallet... but without other chain connected, how will it convert/send on the other chain?
