Linux, Windows and OSX are up and running like champs. Getting great feedback.

For those mining - here's some of the input/output (feedback on H/m etc) we've received thus far...

I think there's a minor bug. Just installed it and on the app preview version is set to $VERSION

I'll pass along to Devs. Thanks for pointing that out.

It's refreshing to finally take part in mining. You literally can't make it any easier and the results have been fantastic.

Proud of everyone and excited for the launch.

This coin will be a success and a breath of fresh air for miners, that is unless some douchebag figures out a way to come up with a GPU miner and refuses to release the code while selling it to just number of people. Let's just hope that doesn't happen.

The coin won't be fast on a GPU. Assume you have a $500 card with 8 GB ram. You could run at most around 60 threads but with latency and lower performance per thread of a GPU, there won't be a huge performance gap. GPUs are fast for scrypt etc. Because you can execute 1500-4000 simultaneous threads. Due to memory limitations, you are restricted to 60ish. The gap narrows considerably and the investment in GPUs isn't worth it.

Is there command for viewing my hashrate in vericoind? Like gethashespersec in ltc?
try getmininginfo
Already tried, it returns network hashrate and some other info, not my own hashrate.

Just to clarify, what I'm currently mining is just test Verium and will be lost when it goes live?

That's correct, we're using this to help us debug various functions in the back end of the coin as well as offering users the ability to test their mining speed and optimize their mining parameters.

Thanks Patrick

Mining is possible through the coin daemon as well, right?

yes

gen=1
genproclimit=

is there any point mining this way?

only if you are connecting into a computer remotely and don't want a user interface etc.
