The price is very low. We await the good news! Angry

VRM fell down to 52k on Bittrex, that is around the lowest ICO price. Can it go even lower ?

and I thought it was supposed to be 10x more expensive than vrc lol..

Patience is a virtue, there is an old saying. The price can't be 10X in just one day. Rome wasn't built in a day

True.. Rome wasn't built in a day.. neither did that 10x came out from my mouth initially xD

Sadly, the price falls a lack of buyers. Who here was pricing it at $ 1$+

Windows: 800 to 1300
Ubuntu: 950. Nothing is changed.

So does it mean wallet is not optimized for linux?

It means is now optimized for both, linux was better at handling previous miner code and it's better for linux now too, just didn't make too much of a difference.

Wow, I go on vacation for a few days and miss out on the great stuff happening. Need to update my wallet when I get back Paris, probably going to be a few more versions no doubt. Great job Devs!

my hash rates have improved by approx 30%, but the systems went from barely noticeable to almost unuseable.  still, the lag justifies the increased hash for me.  thanks nerds!

16 how much memory is required for the core CPU?
I have a dual system, 16 core 32 threads, the use of VM virtual machine running two UBUNTU system, running only 1 Ubuntu can get 1900H/M, CPU occupancy rate of 50%.
2 Ubuntu systems operate at the same time, each system can only get 1100H/M. This is why? At this time the CPU occupancy rate is 100%

I'll do some testing with it. If it turns out the optimized is better ill incorporate its improved implementation to the in wallet miner. Need to test it out thoroughly, for instance it may have better hashrate but generate more stales due to slow hashrate relative to other scrypt. That is something we had to optimize specially for this memory requirement.
Thanks, that would be nice.
I was running at a 99.95% efficiency for 16 hours at the pool which is 0.4% better than average but as the pool isnt working yet it might not mean anything. And thinking about it I dont remember if stales are count towards your efficiency.

Verium 1.0.4 is released.  This is a recommended update that optimizes the built in cpu-miner to minimize the number of memory allocations for scrypt² and improves hashrates a bit (credit to Rlmic on vericoinforums.com).  Get it here: http://www.vericoin.info/veriumlaunch.html or Check for update in wallet.

jumped from 870 to 1300 with this (7/8 processors)
870 to 1500 (8/8 processors)  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Wow, Nice! Depending on hardware and especially better in Windows, because it apparently doesn't handle heavy memory allocation very well. This solves that by minimizing the memory allocations necessary.

had similar jump as well  Grin
Mine only jumped from 800 to 1050 but with the standalone miner on the pool I was running 1800 h/m.

Not sure those numbers were real because it seems seems difficulty schedule may have been problem with pool.
Considering hashrates people are getting using linux and the fact that it was an optimized miner, I do think its pretty close, but there is no real way for me to verify it without a working pool.
The miner also said 30 H/s which to my knowledge shouldnt be influenced by the difficulty.
