baddw,

I think that's a great idea. I am working on a feed site as well.

The focus of my site will be sporting events and it will be live shortly after the functionality is added to Counterwallet.

I should mention - this project is not affiliated with the Counterparty project and the founders of Counterparty are not involved.

Awesome!  Keep up the good work!  Glad to see the outreach.  And something has made a big difference in the XCP price and volume trends lately.  It's good to see!

Is it possible to set up a feed using the web wallet?  I think that a fun thing to bet on will be the Bitcoin network difficulty at each re-adjustment.  This would allow folks to hedge their hardware purchases, among other things.  If someone hasn't done it already, I would like to try to set up a feed that pushes the difficulty with each new adjustment.  I would also like to lay out a few "fun" bets just to get the ball rolling, although to my understanding, bets are not yet functional on the web wallet?

Some feedbacks from ROCKMINER thread

can someone explain how to buy shares, all i see is on counterwallet is a buncha funds for starwars stocks  Huh Huh

not really trying to buy shares on shitty beta site

Shares aren't widely traded yet. Your best bet is to find someone with shares and buy them direct (like AM direct).

However, without a market, it is difficult to know a fair price.  I own shares abut am unwilling to sell at .15  I'm guessing that without a market for price discovery, you won't find too many willing to sell.
yea thats why ive been trying to buy shares since this thread opened....and also tried to get havelock to open a PT

Is anyone else having trouble getting Blockscan to load? I keep getting this error: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ztmjvowfj6slyel/Screenshot%202014-05-10%2020.31.05.png

Looks ok on my end. The only change I made was the addition of the Asset by Address view.

Cheers

Now xcp'praces is up. Grin

True, the price is going up. More importantly, I think, is the increase in volume. There have been many days in the past month where XCP trade volume is less than 10 BTC/day. Now we're up above 40 BTC/day for the last several days. People are taking notice.

Just thought of something while taking a dump  Grin

How come XCP doesn't have a multipool which mine other coins, buy XCP and pay to the miners with XCP?

I am in the process of making one.
hope the community here will support it.

What do you call a fish with no eyes? A Fsh!
additionally there probably will be quite a spike in a few days, because looking at the orderbooks, the willingness to sell over the last weeks was quite stable. when the new features come this will probably not be different, but the willingness to buy will be much higher. so thin orderbooks + expected high demand...

anyway I do not care for prices - this is one of the most interesting projects this year.

Agreed - very interesting.

Long live the counterparty!
