I would assume it's due to increased public exposure through the efforts of the founders and betting functionality being added to Counterwallet fairly soon.

Small python script for generating your Counterwallet Account Offline: https://github.com/porqup1ne/CounterWalletHelper. You can specify how many addresses to display, and whether to reveal private keys. Also you can recover a pass phrase with a missing word.

Not sure how I missed this. Awesome.

Adam (PhantomPhreak) attended the MIT Bitcoin event. I believe he also gave a presentation at a Bitcoin Meetup in New York. Coming up the founders will be travelling to Amsterdam for Bitcoin 2013, although they will not be speaking. We do have speaking positions lined up for Inside Bitcoins Hong Kong and Melbourne.

Can/will blockscan.com be adapted to show assets at an address?

I have added a basic asset by address view.

Please see http://www.blockscan.com/assetbyaddress.aspx?q=1Nf1LL6z8QN8uLZENLdPNzSGhhcfWqtzax for an example

There is also "link" under the address view

Wow that was quick, thanks!

Bitcoin is new, makes sense to hodl.
counterwallet is getting more solid, betting/cfd is soon to be supported. Few pinksheet IPOs happening, Rockminer test drive trading shares/dividend on DEx. Word spreading in the Bay area. Plus the betting related service/util from porqupine.

Looking at the charts, is this a turnaround story or headfake - any summary of future plans anywhere?

will there be an update of your week in silicon valley?

Any update concerning the marketing job too ? XCP is obviously far ahead from other 2nd gen coins and DACs, and people deserves to know it.

People was buying every XCP under 0.004 XCP this morning (+40%). I wish it was linked with the road show in Silicon valley. Any other IPO coming early ?

.144 BTC a day would be quite high. Especially if BTC goes up another couple thousand, and supposing that you aren't receiving anything back in fees.

Interesting, though. Now this brand new account with a zero-balance has the notification about a pending BTC sale, and how I need to stay logged in to complete the transaction.

Right it's saying
Code:
Sell BTC Pending: As you have one or more pending or open sell order for BTC, please stay logged in so that the order(s) can be properly filled.

In chrome, I suggest using the "Incognito mode" every time accessing counterwallet, it's been the least trouble so far

That's a bug, and I've created an issue for it on GitHub.

Sweeping your old funds
Setting up a new wallet and sweeping your existing funds into it is a very easy process. To get started, simply log into Counterwallet using your existing passphrase (without the “old “ prefix). Once in, click on the Import Funds button, and then choose From Old Wallet. Follow the instructions on that dialog, which will allow you to directly import all old wallet funds into the new wallet. Using your existing passphrase for this process is safe, and will enable the full 128 bits of entropy for your new wallet.

Note that if you do not have sufficient BTC balance to handle the fees to transfer the assets at a given address in your old wallet, the dialog will give you the chance to specify a private key to another address with the BTC to use for the fees.

Thanks for making the changes.

I logged into/created the "new" account, but I don't see the Import Funds button, only the Create New Address button in the top right.

Hmm, are you using a desktop browser (e.g. chrome or firefox?) I just tried with both, and it shows up on both...upper right part of the screen. Maybe try clearing your cache and logging in again.

On Chrome on OSX. Clearing the cache worked.

Interesting, though. Now this brand new account with a zero-balance has the notification about a pending BTC sale, and how I need to stay logged in to complete the transaction.
