XCP's market cap has now exceeded Mastercoin's!

P.S. Bear in mind, that the current valuation is WITHOUT a popular desktop GUI (bounty still being decided I think) and web wallet.

P.P.S. How long do you think it'll be before the media perk up and notice a new Top 10 (or even Top 5?) coin?

Please let it be after the new site is up.

Yea, things are moving way too fast. I wouldn't mind for value to stabilize at 0.01 or even below until the whole metric ton of work in progress things comes out:

- New site
- New design
- Web wallet
- GUI wallets for Mac and Win
- News articles
- A whole bunch of guides and FAQs
- (and the most important thing) real people issuing worthwhile assets and feeds for their projects

Is there an ETA for any of these projects?

end Feb/start March

Busoni, thank you for floating the fees. The new fee of 0.10 XCP sounds about perfect.

Somebody asked earlier who the five most important sites were...I'd say 1) Coindesk 2) Cryptsy....don't know about others.

Can counterparty only be used with bitcoin-QT?  Because downloading the whole blockchain makes my old macbook go really really slow so I can't do it, which sadly rules me out as a counterparty user unless I can use a thin client.
There is a web only client in the works.

It seems that my selection of poloniex to pester to list XCP and getting XCP right next to mastercoin on coinmarketcap all happened. It sure didnt seem like it was easy to add XCP, and my guess is that most other exchanges wouldnt have stuck it out through all the issues, nor would they have been able to get it working as fast. Tristan is the best!!

Now we steal mastercoin's thunder before they are able to get any real world release out. The cat is out of the bag and now everybody that didnt know about counterparty will immediately compare working software with almost software.

I usually dont beg for tips, but I think I deserve one in this case. Feel free to express your euphoria!

James,  what would you say are the next 5 most influential sites where we should get the word out about Counterparty?

I m on holidays an not up to date. XCP is listed on coinmarketscap. Does it also trade on a centralized exchange like cryptsy or something? Anyone have a quick answer for that?

Always: you can click on coinmarketcap's given coin price and you'll get the exchange from which it is derived

he who has the gold makes the rules
what's the deal with the massive troll buy?  http://blockscan.com/order.aspx?q=3594

is there something being worked on to counteract this kind of stuff?  Or at least make the tx fee proportional to btc sell offer for it to be valid?

That has already been implemented: now fee_provided is a percentage of one's "BTC sell" purchase.

ah ok cool.

so this order is just a legacy valid order waiting on expiration?

btw what is the fee %?

also regarding matching if i place a sell at a lower price then this order, and it matches, (assuming the entity actually paid) does the match for payment happen at the btc sell offer price or the xcp sell offer price?
