There seems to be some problem with the earchcryptocoins faucet -- I've sent 500 XDC to the address for faucet donations

And still, a day later, the faucet is not working. The 500 XDC should have kept it running for a long time, but they seem to be lost now. There is no contact info except an email and a notice that the site has been sold and there is a new owner.

I've been using the site there for some other coins faucets and I had no payment for very long time now. Maybe 2 weeks or more!!

I'd say that this is suspicious. I don't recommend using earncryptocoins.com until this is resolved!!

I moved the bounty fund for the first China exchange that XDC lands on.

The reason to do this was that the old address was from my wallet and having it there effectively blocked my wallet. And I need my wallet to start distributing prizes for our logo contest. The amount collected in the old address was 17000 XDC and here they are in the new address, in a separate wallet. Ready to be taken from the one who gets us on a real China exchange. And until then -- ready to accept more new donations for the bounty.

We'll have the vote for new coin logo open until Monday 7th.

XDC is alive. No need to post every day something to verify this
It's sufficient to look at coin explorer and the exchanges.
I wonder why there is no more activity on coin logo poll.
The works of all participants are great !. Must gain more attention, they deserve this.
It is a loss for everyone missing this free show.  
After the end of the logo poll - there will be new wallet version, including new windows version.

It's just meaningless IMO. What should I have said -- "no, it's not dead" and wait another 4 days before he asks the same again and again? I don't get it why people ask such questions...

These are things that anyone could do, the info is pulic anyway.

AFAIK the dev is busy with coin developments too.

There is an open discussion here in the thread and on reddit http://www.reddit.com/r/Xedoscoin/comments/21i0jx/services_for_xdc/ about new services for XDC. It would be far more interesting to discuss development ideas.

But anyway, one can't tell the people what to discuss in a forum thread. I'm not a mod, not a dev, I just try to contribute. Anyway

Saying all day "dead, dead, dead" helps nobody. Xedoscoin needs help, we all need help from everyone in the community that wants a car coin. I do my best to move the things forward. And what do you do?

All these "is this coin dead" popping up in this forum really make me mad. If you don't have something else to do, then help the coin. There are lots of ways to do so, there are even ideas for shops and services. There is design work -- posters, paper wallets etc. If you do have something else to do... well... go on and mind your business.

We need services. We've mentioned this several times already, but it is hard to do it, especially since we're still a relatively small community.

So do we have ideas? We can concentrate on car related services.

An online shop for something like LED lights? We can raise a bounty fund for this -- a fund in XDC coins, this way the people will have more reasons to keep the service, because the money won from the fund will have real value when the shop starts selling items for XDC too.

The shop can benefit after that by selling on exchanges some coins -- not dumping them all, but selling some of them at a bit higher prices, thus pushing the value up (which is good for the shop in longer term too, because there will be more income from this). And when there is a service, there will be buyers at the exchanges, because they'll need the coin to use it at the service.

A web store is not hard to setup. It may even not be a store, but just some descriptive pages with an explanation where to send XDC to, a list of various items to pick from and a seller contact info if something goes wrong with the delivery.

The problem is only the logistic of these items.
