The problem is not the mining. The problem is there's no buy support. It's on 3 exchanges, and total trade history is less than 0.001 BTC!! If no one wants to buy, no one will mine.
The difficulty is for SHA2-Skein. You must multiply by ~3 the Hashrate and Difficulty to compare with pure SHA2 coins.
May be it is possible to solo mine for big miners, over 1 Gh - respectivly over 3Gh(measured in SHA2 hashpower) at current difficulty.
But who knows - there is a luck too. There are lucky blocks too every 3250, 4250, 4800, 6250.

Is solo mining this easy since the diff still seems to be low?
As of this writing the pool http://xdc.plasr.com is empty, so we can take a lot more miners in the pools. The official pool http://pool.xedoscoin.com can take more hit too. Only the http://xed.argakiig.us seems to be a bit crowded. All three pools are PPLNS, so each new miner will get his share of coins.
Also http://pool.xedoscoin.com and http://xdc.plasr.com have lower share difficulty set, that means that smaller miners will be getting more shares. So if you are mining with your PC and not with a huge rig, come join these.

Well, the difficulty quite definitely is getting higher, it seems to occasionally drop back down, but every time it goes up, we reach a new high.
More miners need to post in this thread, if they want the coin to get more attention though.

Is there a difficulty chart for XDC? Difficulty seems to be rising, I'm wondering what difficulty used to be at...

I found mine just more than 1 g the work force in the pool, but managed to force up to 3 g, is now also have SOLO? I tried to SOLO has been very difficult
