I think a few weeks back, "HunterMinerCrafter" was one of the users who extensively made good tests and found out bugs in the code.
How about we invite him again here to test the SuperNode architecture. This will greatly improve the quality/and quantity of tests being run. We, as a community (or Lannister, if he is around) could donate him some amount (in terms of BTC or XEL) for his help.

If everyone, and HunterMinerCrafter would be okay with that ?
excellent idea ! Coralreefer is good too, but he said he wouldn't help unless a bounty !

Conf/conf_default folder have nxt.property file. You need to open it and set adminpass variable then restart or build again I am not sure which one is OK.

Later you can add peer manually or again using nxt property file (testpeer variable you can set it)

Elastic Project

http://www.elastic-project.com is a non-profit community driven website, created by and for the developers, other community members and those interested in this project, to surge information and helpful advice on everything related to Elastic.

The overall goals of the website are:
  • To be the public face of the Elastic Project
  • To be a useful resource to current Elastic Project users, testers and developers
  • To be a place that those current users can point others to for info and updates

This thread is too long to read, and extracting every information is just too much to handle, so please explore the website to obtain supplemental information.
I want to know about the site and the development of this elastic but when I open the site I can not see anything and why this site can not be opened? how the others are experiencing the same thing to me? I need this information.. Thanks

That site is down, and nobody (except Lanister) has access to it.
Since he's out for quite long time, I think we can forget about that domain.
and how the project if their sites can not be accessed.. I want to know more about this elastic and what is the purpose of this project so that they are ready to fly to get a developer or investor..

The forum is a great and important endeavor, and of course it will be good to use it. But despite that, I still think that this thread and the discourse in it should not be abandoned for other mediums, rather I think we should have additional communication means. I know it could mean more time spent on communicating instead of other important things, but still I find the btt thread important and accessible for many.

A forum certainly has its place but I believe that complete migration off of BCT is a misguided endeavor since many potential devs/contributors/users/investors are exposed to projects on this forum.  A dedicated forum should be a source of technical information, troubleshooting advice, a meeting place to gather consensus on certain issues, links to GITHUB, etc.

So we will be using 3 different forums? Bitcointalk, Slack and the new site?

So most people bought the ICO around 500-700 sats, we should see trading start around a few thousand sats

Is there any estimate when trading on an exchange will start, and does anyone know which will be the first exchange to add XEL?

No one knows, and it's not even top priority. First the testings have to succeed. I prefer good and heavy testing more than a rush on exchanges for the fast money.

Does anyone know how long the testings will take? I had a quick look at this project some time ago and people were saying you'll have to wait a while. Is there still an indeterminate wait until it's completed?

It's done when it's done, or like other Projects say: Soon  ;-)

Please move all discussion there. Especially you @EK! If you'll stay here people will also stay here Smiley

See you all there. (I'll spam with this message here for few pages so everyone will see it.).

Is there a kind of bot that automatically posts everything written here in a thread over at the new forum? Would be kinda neat…

@unvoid (and the rest),

I've seen my name on the list, but I have no time at the moment; too many other projects (mostly non-crypto) need my attention. If that changes, I'll contact you. Anyway, thanks for doing this Smiley

CryptoTalk.Org - Get Paid for every Post!
Updates should still be announced here.
Thx
I agree with you, they started on Bitcointalk so they should stay on Bitcointalk as well.

I don't want to close this thread. I want to move discussion to Elastic forum. This thread will be updated often to attract/inform new people from BCT.

If you will stand with position that we don't need forum it will die quickly.

Nonetheless I don't really care about opinions about staying here. BCT forum is typically "one topic for one coin". Every (success) coin sooner or later need forum.

I hope @EK will register on our forum and never get back to BCT.

I can provide updates here for BCT users with links to our forum.

Ah, alright. Cool.
Diversity is a good thing, I guess managing the threads will get easier on the personal forum.

As long as this Bitcointalk thread stays open, newer people will start to get involved in the Elastic Project.
