Installer package added to xivra.com.

Also finishing some guides on the website today. After that I will be really busy with finalizing the webhost. If it seems that i am not active then it is just because I am busy working on Xivra projects.

Will xivra add to bter and cryspty?

There is a thread to vote on Cryptsy, if enough people vote they will add.

How long it takes to confirm mined coins in a pool and transfer it to the wallet ?

Well I am using John Dorians pool and I would say it takes around 12 hours for me give or take a few.

I lowered the fee on http://xiv.pps-mining.com to 3 % , please note that if pool luck goes above 102% on a 7 day average i will put it back at 4%

I just contacted almost everyone on this page to try and get Xivra on some more exchanges as CoinedUp keeping going down and is very slow. I want to trade some XIV Smiley.

http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/markets/info

I will let you know if any of these websites add us and would advise you to do the same if you have anything invested in XIV and think it could be a fair and viable currency to use in the future.

Axio. Are you planning to add the technical specs of Xivra (as shows on the first page of this thread) to the main website? I think that would make a lot of sense, as people would go to the website to read how many coins are in circulation now, how many can be mined total, how often does it half etc and to see if it is pre-mined or not. Thanks for the hard work Smiley.

Done and updating https://www.xivra.com more today

Looking good Smiley.

I hope another currency exchange accepts us soon. Coinedup is down for me now, so I can't trade any XIV Sad.

Size of your hash rate does not matter at all . It is more about personal preferences.

I will give you a link with a decent explanation of the difference between pools instead of copy pasting .

Thanks! That helps a lot!

I jumped on and mined on the PPS for a few hours when it opened yesterday, and I did alright with the payout.

I have to ask though, which type of pool is best for my situation? I usually stay in pools for a while, so I usually choose PPLNS. I only have 25-35Khash/s. Is any pool type better for tiny miners?

so i just registered on xiv.pps-mining.com... not able to set a payment address or auto threshold though because options are grayed out. tried sending an email via the contact page, but the form is broken and gives an error message when i press the send button and it says to try again. no other way to get a hold of the pool owner. would really like to be able to pull my coins off the pool.

to the owner of the pps pool: you need to fix your contact page or list an email address on the front news page

The things are grayed out coz on xiv.pps-mining.com there is double authentication . If you want to change your settings you fill in your pin to unlock . This will send and email to you with a confirmation link. Using this link will make it available for you to change your settings. Once done it locks again.

This is done to prevent attacks on a pool where someone can simply use login/password from other pools where they don't use encrypted data in the database.

I will investigate the problem of the contact form as it seems to work for me. I will get back on that.

New PPS pool added xiv.pps-mining.com  4% fee

No bad luck anymore as each valid share is paid , no need to wait on confirmations, Orphaned blocks are paid.

4%??? good lord...

Wow, 4%. Good luck to whoever created that then... I'd only even consider mining with that if Axio himself created it as he gives a lot of the coins away that he buys and mines.

Yes I created the pool due to the fact there was a wish for a PPS pool, the 4% looks high indeed but unfortunatelly i do not want to risk putting it lower as it could end up me buying even more Xivra's  just to be able to pay the miners Grin .

Consider that a busy pool of Xivra will have 5-10 orphaned blocks a week . Those 5-10 blocks will be paid out, so it comes out of my limited pocket of Xivra, any bad luck on the pool ... the same thing. I am not even taking in account server costs. If you are curious what big mining pools do to survive a long time then i suggest you to read https://www.btcguild.com/index.php?page=support§ion=howamipaid .

Happy Mining !
