Ah everything is going back to normal again. That was exhausting. Stoked to have gotten another bunch of XLM at just 60 cents today Smiley

yes, XLM seems normal at the point now. . .
but if it increases again then XLM will become a rocket again
the coin holder needs patience to wait this out

Yeah, I really don't understand the people that panic-sell when the demand is increasing.

They are cryptonoobs who do not understand  that  we can regain and surpass the prices we saw a few days ago.

Yeah, these ups and downs that are caused by speculation really don't matter in the long run, when you make hundreds of percent profit.

What is it with polo being so unreliable with Stellar deposits and withdrawals. Why would it be that such an exchange can't handle transactions with such a popular crypto? Could it be true what they said, putting the blame on Stellar?

Polo may have issue? My zrx withdrawal suffered error there too. No support answered or helped me.

HODL
I recently bought this coin for medium-term storage. But it seems to me that if I keep this coin for a year and more then it can become very expensive. The project is promising and interesting.

My take.

While there are plenty of short term opportunities for those interested in that, XLM is a long term hold.

The Ripple to Bitcoin, Etherium Satoshi squeezing is going to probably dominate until the banks snatch the rug out from XRP.

Meanwhile, XLM will in my opinion have steady, reasonable growth as people do their homework and see the long term value of this system. It will continue to have these spikes and corrections, as it is also connected to the global whim to a certain extent. As well as the fact that various holders of large amounts of XLM will be shedding coins for gains here and there since they got in very early.

But yeah, there is opportunity all around imo. Don't mess with short positions unless you really know what you are doing though.

Hey guys, sorry if i'm posting in the wrong place, but i can't find anything...

can someone enlighten me on as to why i should invest in stellar lumens?

i mean, is there upcoming announcements/what are they? where have they been put into practice so far (can you use it yet at a shopping mall/ubying things in a market etc.)....

and yeh as asked, what's expected in the upcoming month?

are we going to get some rumored announcements? what are the rumors?

Sorry for the random message here but hope some passionate Lumenists will help guide me to the stellar side....

Sure, so my understanding is that Stellar will be used to speed up the process of retail banking  payments across the South Pacific (from a few days to minutes or seconds lowering the transaction cost for consumers and retail banks) using a network that IBM is building involving 9 banks.

Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria
Bank Danamon Indonesia
Bank Mandiri
Bank Negara Indonesia
Bank Permata
Bank Rakyat Indonesia
Kasikornbank Thailand
Mizuho Financial Group
National Australia Bank
Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC) Philippines
Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group
TD Bank
Wizdraw (HK) of WorldCom Finance

That should put stellar ahead of Bitcoin cash at a market cap more or less in the 60 to 70 billion range. That puts Stellar at 5 times its current price.

But this is not investment advice just my opinion do research.

Any proof in this one? I try to research on this banks but I didn't get any anouncement or news about it...
Surprise , fake news , like IOTA and Microsoft fake  "partnership " from  $0.70 To $5 In 2 days still stuck in $4 for 1 month , people who invest @$5 still waiting ...

yea, it's fake news.. not all you see on the internet are real, buddy.

anyway check this out for the real thing https://www.stellar.org/about/directory

I don't know, that list looks very specific and it could be information that shouldn't have been released to the public yet.

Stellar seems legit as fuck, and they have several major partnerships with banks and other businesses.

 Huh

What? Try and use words Smiley

^ Will code for Bitcoins
STR is currently under maintenance or experiencing wallet/network issues. Deposits and withdrawals will remain disabled until a solution is found, which may require an update from the STR team. Any updates must be tested and audited before enabling.

How convenient deposits and withdraws are stopped until the update from the STR team in the middle of the price crash (5800 -> 3800 satoshies). They will just cause more panic doing this and get the price back to 600 - 800 levels. Should have leave the market do it's course if they believe in XLM.

Glad with recent progression of XLM value.
I guess this is just the beginning and 2018
will be awesome for this coin.

Probably I should get more if there is a significant correction
and buy opportunities from weak hands ;-)

Is there a problem with wallet? Poloniex has stopped deposits and withdrawals.
Though Bittrex deposits and withdrawals are working fine. Polo pulling a scam?
Trying to shake Lumens from weak hands? Anybody have a clue?

Peace, Dennis

Im back to invest in Stellar again, i think there is alot of potential for the currency to jump  in the next few months.
I would like to say that at present, it is really expensive and not suitable for buying. However, in the long run, this price is also acceptable. I will choose to buy when it falls
