yeah I totally missed out on that one, didn't have any bitcoin in a core wallet, usually just keep my funds on an exchange or a service like coinbase (unless stellar included those wallets in their distribution, then I lost out).

But yeah overall stellar is a really amazing concept and their recent partnership with deloitte was pretty good news as well..but its funny how the price definitely didn't reflect the new cross border payment app they launched.

It was a great plan  and idea at that time the only thing short is the implementation and the willingness to go through the project, it was a very promising one, but it turned into mess when they decide to distribute stellar to bitcoin holders. the amount is proportion to how much bitcoin you hold from your wallet, so in short making the rich richer.

man I remember holding 50,000 stellar at one point...sold it all down to 1,000...buy definitely pretty cool concept..like the fast transaction time and the recent foray into Africa and a cross border payment app

This will decentralize the toilet walls and since decentralization implies critical thinking and innovations, a pic of the toilet walls will fit the design and business model of this coin as well its doomed and abandoned roadmap.

cengsuwuei: STR was what they used to be called. They are called XLM or lumens now. Poloniex hasn't changed the symbol for some reason.

For bounties are you talking about this: https://www.stellar.org/lumens/build/
There are awards every 3 months for projects built on stellar.

Stellar is no joke.  Pretty soon we'll see this at 1K sat as it gains value to reach parity with xrp.
