Well to be honest. if a coin isn't hybrid or has masternodes the ANN will be 90% of people whining about masternodes

this is the second hybrid system that I've seen today that has masternodes, at this point I have to start thinking to myself whether people are just taking this approach because it seems to be the one that makes the most money rather than makes the most sense. I think people need to take a deep look at how the consensus systems and overall architecture of The blockchain Works before making a decision about whether to invest in technology that takes this approach because it honestly seems like a bunch of hype words at this point.

On Server
---------

1. Generate masternode private key using the command

masternode genkey

2. Stop the wallet

3. Add the following lines in XYLO.conf

masternode=1
masternodeaddr=VPS_IP_ADDRESS:PORT
masternodeprivkey=MASTERNODE_PRIVATE_KEY

4. Start the wallet

On Local Wallet
---------------

1. Type the following command to generate an address

getaccountaddress MASTERNODE_ALIAS

2. Send 1,000 XYLO to the address generated above and wait for 10 confirmations.

3. After 10 confirmations, type the following command to get masternode transaction id

masternode outputs

The output will look like this

4. Create the masternode.conf file and add the following

6. Start the masternode by typing

do you even know how much a terahash costs?

and this difficulty algo literally discourages single miners. it's impossible for this coin to be mined by normal people with just one or two machines

A proper difficulty algo scales up. goes upwards in a curve. here it just goes in extremes

then THREE minutes later which SHOULD see a decrease since block time is apparently 2 minutes according to OP it jumps to 28K

That is broken. when its supposed to go down it doubles.

another case of WTF.

51 minutes ago (during this post) the diff was 1636 then 2 minutes later another block is found BAM it goes from 1636 to 14025 then SIX MINUTES LATER which is like three times what the block time is supposed to be it goes to 20000

hell the time between 51K and the infamous 293958 was A HALF HOUR

IT TOOK A HALF HOUR between block 125 and 126 and the diff jumped from 51K difficulty to almost 300K

If you SERIOUSLY think this is a good thing and normal and "i like this" material.

we are talking about this reaching 290K before 200 blocks were found. this is not normal.

True. And consolidating hashing power at single pool will help vs brainless miners, who want to catch low diff blocks. It will mitigate network spikes at low diff.

we are talking about this reaching 290K before 200 blocks were found. this is not normal. hell I could go mine kredit or something that is now at like 0.01 diff or something and that goes up gradually not jump to 10K after one block. this coin jumps in blocks of several thousands.

I think XIOS didn't even turn that aggressive and that had terahashes pointed at it. this had like 180GH pointed at it max I think?

a coin that jumps that HIGH in difficulty after a single block is horribly programmed.
