BTC 38 is pretty decent option too and  judging by my experience with them they have one of the best supports. Plus they had pretty every scrypt chacha coin at one point.

I also trade there
And i like it
Sometimes the site is a litle bit slow , but apart from that is a good option

1.   Cryptsy has been “goxed”.
2.   Bter has got low volume.

There is only BTC-E. What do BTC-E's owners say about Yacoin? Has somebody dealt with them?

I've both sent a ticket and wrote and email to bter about yac and no answer for 15+ hours... So yea...

I can tell you the best method is to use the QQ chat program.

Is there anyone willing to ask Bter.com to fix the YAC deposit problem? I think currently Bter.com is reliable for they are running the service for a long time after the previous attack.

BTER flat out STOLE $5000 worth of coins from me a couple years ago. I would not be the one to address them even if I wanted to.

It would be preferable to be on an exchange with a good reputation, but unfortunately, that is asking for a lot nowadays...

shapeshift.io would be one option? We would need multiple people asking to add it. It does not matter if one is a 'dev' or one of the "biggest wallet owners." The number of people asking (in a professional manner) will matter the most. Until the YAC-only Exchange Bounty is fulfilled (or until perhaps there is an innovative alternative to the typical exchange model), YAC needs to be added to some exchange out there.

Until someone fulfills the YAC-only Exchange Bounty, YACoin needs to get on another exchange. Does anyone have any ideas, prospects?

I think this question should be addressed to the biggest wallet owner.

Makes you wonder how many YAC are stuck in cryptsy right now.

I is there any echange where i can trade some yac?
cryptsy seem's to much goxed Sad

What's happening with Cryptsy now?

Probably insolvent
BTC / LTC / DASH withdraw not woking simve begining of December

By the way allCryp is dead

BTER é cant create a YAC address

It Says : New address is being generated for you, please wait a moment and refresh this page.

But it never creates

Whithout cryptsy there no exchange for yac Sad
I'll have to try a very small BTC withdrawal from Cryptsy when they resume withdrawals after this recent phishing attack. I can say that I withdrew YAC a couple days ago, and it processed just fine.

Well... nevermind

I wasn't aware of the BTER problem. I do know that they stole $5000 dollars worth of coins from me a while back. I don't forget that.

But most importantly... Smiley

What is interesting right now is that the reward per block has reached the max that is set in the code (100 YAC per block). If the difficulty drops 100 fold, the block rewards will not change, unlike what has occurred up to this point at each NFactor change.

As an update; according to the pool and wallet statistics it appears the block reward has fallen to 95 coins per block (and is still dropping).  Looks like there is some serious mining power being added to cause this increase in block difficultly!

Incrementing N will lead to immediate hashing speed decrease. Difficulty will reflect these speed changes (i.e. difficulty will decrease after N++) with lags. As soon as block reward depends on difficulty the reward will increase also and more miners will be motivated to join after N++.  It's not easy to predict now but we can be sure that some waves will happen on each N++ event.

I think it is important to not that last part "we can be sure that some waves will happen on each N++ event."

NFactor changes have had a negative effect in the beginning, mainly because miners became disenchanted with having to adjust settings, and increasing block rewards made it seem that early sacrifices didn't pay off.

The great thing is that the NFactor makes it like going from sha-256 to scrypt to X11 and so forth... the algorithm changes on a SET schedule, which generally leads to different hardware that is most optimal for 'mining'. Unlike the flawed thinking in other crypto communities (a disease really), where a few power-hungry people control and manipulate the algorithm for their best interest or to whatever is the flavor of the month, YACoin's changing algorithm is on a SET schedule, and it hasn't been changed since inception years ago. Some predictability is important.

What is interesting right now is that the reward per block has reached the max that is set in the code (100 YAC per block). If the difficulty drops 100 fold, the block rewards will not change, unlike what has occurred up to this point at each NFactor change.

An optimistic note is that new CPUs and GPUs that are developed hence forth by mainstream, computer-tech companies can only benefit the YAC network and the marketcap and any new interest. I think an 'altcoin' shouldn't strive to be 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc to Bitcoin... it should strive to be BETTER than Bitcoin. There is a lot of room for improvement technically and fundamentally, but if a coin ever surpasses Bitcoin, it will be through mass appeal to a wider audience that Bitcoin is failing to do on many levels.
