I asked the question whether the 42+1 requirement for securenodes could change in the future and the answer was that it was possible. If that happens to be the case and the minimum gets raised to a 500 or 1000, will you honor the right of early 42+1 adopters to run a securenode? While it would be an extra effort, you can do so by wallet address. The early adopters would continue running with 42+1 as long as they continuously maintained the same funds in the same address. Any thoughts by developers on this?
Really an interesting question.
We started with 42+1, how will community shapes this project it is very difficult to say. This and many other questions are yet to come for discussion.

A good question indeed - I am planning to run a node and I have already bought the necessary ZEN  Smiley
BTW, when you rune a node, do you have to keep it online all the time?

MedaR, since this will have a significant impact on many early securenode investor, how can we make sure that it's considered in time? We'd really hate to see the securenode operators revolt once the infrastructure is established and it's time to make these decisions. Should I ask this on the official Zencash forum? Is there somewhere like an ideas database to log this?

where is the purse file in arizen?  .awd - It is he?
Windows: %APPDATA%/Arizen
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Arizen
I will repeat my question again. .awd is the wallet file where the private key is?
I do not see where my private key is.

Private keys are encrypted in .awd wallet file.

->   .uawd (unecrypted arizen wallet database) is unecrypted and you can export it from Arizen menu - it isnt in plain text but in binary format.
Write code in any language which load binary file and display it in plain text, or some text editor that allow you open / load binary files.

what about harddrive for secure node - how many GB it will require?
You can find a lot of examples here:

https://forum.zensystem.io/t/where-are-you-hosting-a-zen-secure-node/709

Thanks for the link. I will observe the development and decide if it makes sense to host a node. So far I am really impressed seeing where this is going - mined some Zen a couple of months ago it was much easier back then Cheesy

Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Arizen

Cannot login or create wallet - win10 64. I read that there is a known bug but I don't know how to avoid it in order to start using Arizen.
Re-installing it will fix the problem? I have fully sync Swing wallet, no issues with it.
Thank you

How can i encrypt my wallet (desktop Windows)? can somebody help me with that?
Swing wallet?

Known issues and limitations

Limitation: Wallet encryption has been temporarily disabled in ZENCash due to stability problems. A corresponding issue #1552 has been opened by the ZCash developers. Correspondingly wallet encryption has been temporarily disabled in the ZENCash Desktop GUI Wallet.
