Not very clear to me how to use the new Arizen wallet. Won't allow me to login or create a new wallet. Obviously I'm doing something wrong but I don't know what.
It's perfect that you don't need to download all blockchain and is encrypted.

@MedaR can I delete downloaded data from wallet? how to do that? downloaded file is too huge need to delete that, please explain how to do this and how to change drive for downloading it.
Thanks
Whatever you do always back up your wallet.data and private keys store and safe place!!!

First run zend.exe  insert -datadir=   then run   ZENCashSwingWalletUI.exe ( is new location you want )

Process explained above is not checked and it is not advised by developer of swing wallet, i have never tried to do this because when something is not recommended then you should avoid it.

Entire blockchain and all files inside roaming/zen are under 2GB,  if you do not want to use Swing wallet you can use Arizen - lite wallet in this case you won't download whole blockchain https://github.com/ZencashOfficial/arizen

I am new to swing wallet. Why is Wallet downloading so much data? I don't have enough space on my SSD and I don't know how to point this downloading to a different drive.
Any tips on that?
I would not experimented too much, but if you have time and good will then you can try this :

-datadir=   dir default is profile roaming/zen

Quote
I think this will not work 100% even if you start it with:
zend.exe  -datadir=   then run   ZENCashSwingWalletUI.exe this has not been tested. It may partly work but I would not rely on it.

We are waiting for Secure Nodes to go online (mainnet) announced for November 30th.
You can get all details from our latest video update -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvZ1PWakWCA

We all making our own investment decisions, and I won't encourage speculative discussions in this thread. My personal belief is that this project is really something special! Cool

Thank you, good news!

what about harddrive for secure node - how many GB it will require?
You can find a lot of examples here:

Must maintain a balance of at least 42 ZEN in a 'stake' transparent address
Must maintain a minimum balance of .001 ZEN in a private address on the node for challenges
Must be available with minimal exception time for at least 92% of an earning period (appox. 1 day)
Must perform a challenge in under 300 seconds
Allow 8 or more peers by allowing public connections on the configured zen port (default 9033)
Must maintain a valid public SSL cert properly configured for zen
Must not fall behind the current block height by more than 4 blocks
Must update to current versions of the zen and/or tracker software within the posted time frame
Note: only one public Ip address is allowed per node (IPv4 or IPv6).
Nodes who meat all criteria will be algible for payments

Do you have to keep the same IP for all the 24 hours or so of the earning period? If yes, do you ALWAYS have to have the same IP? I guess not.
If you do not have a static IP address you will need to setup DynDNS or another similar service to update your DNS host records. As long as you  meet the uptime and challenge requirements everything will be ok.

There are so many offerings out there, where a person wonders if the coin or token will be successful, but this project is a no-brainer.  It is better than bitcoin, monero, dash, and zcash and just look at the present prices of those coins. This is truly a no-brainer buying opportunity.

Zencash is a comprehensive end-to-end encryption for distributed networks, and I think it's a great project, and it's going to be the most secure network in the world, and I can't wait to see it develop rapidly Cool

Does it mean that you can skate the Full node only through a VPN? Or you can do it easily also with your Gui on your PC? In this case, must your PC be online 100% of the time? Just to understand...
You can run one node per IP, and yes you can run it on your home computer Wink

You do not have to run a secure node on a VPS. You can run it on a home computer. To be more successful, make sure:
1. port forward on your home firewall/router ports 9033 and 19033 to your computer
2. Run it on a 64 bit operating system, linux preferred
3. Buy a domain and create a fully qualified domain name that points to the ip address of your home firewall/router
4. Run the secure node tracker and put the ZEN in the locations you need to for operation.

If you decide to use VPN here you can find experiences of others->

Secure Node Criteria
Each of the following criteria must be met and maintained for a Secure Node to be eligible to recieve a share of the reward pool. These items may be added to or modified at any time.

Just plugging in the numbers that exist now, a person would be quite wealthy in just a short amount of time running a secure node.

Even if the numbers are just a fraction of what that website tells me, it would be wise to get another computer just to run one secure node.

Am I not seeing something here?  Am I missing something?

I realize it is just beta right now, but what if that site is giving true profitability amounts when we get to the next phase?

Help me to see the light if I am not looking at this correctly.

Could it be wise to buy another computer just for 43 Zen Cash tokens to run a secure node and have the computer on continuous uptime?

Thanks,

G.P.

If there will be 1000 nodes as i used for example, and price per zen is 30 USD then it will be like this:

Monthly Reward per Secure Node (100% uptime): 7.56 ZEN

Value in USD: 226.80$

Monthly Profit in USD: 221.80$

Annual Profit in USD: 2661.60$

Annual Profit in ZEN:: 88.72 ZEN

Annual ROI in Zen: 211.24%

So it is good but not crazy Smiley
Expect significant rise of number of nodes when network go main-net, but nodes won't be profitabil immediately on November 30th payment will start little later.

Thanks so much! I will study those tutorials and try to setup one. It seems to be a bit more complicated than I originally thought, but I guess I can do it.
