We have seen that the biggest exchanges for ETC and ETH have frozen funds of the white hat hackers to stop their plan to dump their coins. So I think they will do the same once the ETC of the DAO attacker moves in Poloniex and Kraken too. They will not allow to be used by the attacker as a playground for their bad motives. I do not know what the smaller exchanges will do.
That would be good. But for the DAO hacker, he can just do it off change or mix the coins. Is there a way to prevent that?
That could happen. But I do not hear about the existence of the Etheruem mixing service. There could be one soon.
Currently there are all btc mixing service, not eth or ltc mixers. When eth trading volume last more than 1 year, there will be a mixer service there.
I don't know is this trusted or not and also haven't tried. But there seem already ethereum mixer service available if they also allows ETC mixing than hacker may find a way to mix.
Wow, first time to see this eth mixer. I just wonder how ETH hacker mixed his 3M ETC. Maybe the exchange is watching his address. I am not sure has he dumped his 3M ETC or not.
I think the hacker is dump ETC price because the rate is down too deep and now reach 0.0029. I don't know how long its down and many of traders is stuck on high rate when they buy.
The hacker might have already dump all his ETC by shorting in several exchanges. He can buy back the shorts when he announce that he will sell his ETC and crash the price.
So that means even if the hacker does not do any thing to the ETC which was hacked, he is already millionaire.
