Yeah, that's what wives/girlfriends do : complain to you for buying a product that [slightly loses value over years/loses value fast but ROIs in the meantime] and then they go spend more money on useless crap. I'm for equal right but your uninformed opinion is worthless. Most of us would be mining on our PCs if we would listen the our women. Maybe not even that.

Just received my Newegg order. I thought I ordered one power supply for the new S1, but I accidentally ordered two  

I thought it was double ship at first. Wife is like.. send it back NOW. I'm thinking I need another S1 now. I may just keep it for a backup.

I ordered S1 Sunday and should be here Thursday. Just like the last one.

If they would drop the price to $2000 those coupons would be worth using.

I still got 21 x s2 coupons so just imagine how many gear i could have for that.

LOL It's 1 per machine. I wish you could combine, I would have a lot of free S2's right now

Is it one coupon per miner? Or can you combine coupons?

I have to go into hold mode.  I can't add anymore devices.  It's killing me that I can't use the 8 S2 coupons I have but I need to stop for a while and see what the coin & difficulty do for 6-8 weeks.

I am done until bitmain comes out with something at .7 or .6 watts.

As much as I would like an s-2 it is about 1 watt at the wall which does not cut it.

I am at the do nothing stage for now. never like these dead spots.  Waiting for the next move. is hard.

They almost never answer that e-mail.. they read it and do what is needed to correct.


Also, Canadian here, I've had two orders from bitmain both came in with in 5 days of pay and all units were in perfect working order.  Will probably buy more soon, although I hear roomers about a 28nm product from bitmain.. might just hold on my 4 and wait.

Use the website like a normal human being.   

I just emailed bitmain customer service about buying them. No answer after 48hours.
 

There is one thing of which you can be sure: if they can make this price, is because they actually are making profit

Yeah, that's the first thing I did, running at 95 ghash. It's not worth trying to revive the blade imo, its not trustworthy or worth the risk.

I really feel your pain. I hope this get resolved by them soon. Have you reached out to Bitmain here in the forum?

I can't know the customer service problems you are having as everyone of my units was sent to me within 3 to 4 days and without an issue.

yep and the one that blew was most likely just barely disconnected causing an arc and a pop.  

   You can run that s-1 with 1 blade.     just make sure the good blade is properly attached to the controller.  if you have one blade and the controller running you get 100gh then just rma the 1 dead board.

there is a thread were someone had a dead blade I told him to switch the controller to the good blade it ran at 1/2 speed and he rma'd the one dead blade.
