once you get it updated to the current firmware dated april 10, theres a DIAGNOSTICS tab in the Network config that lets you ping, traceroute, and nslookup.

When i hit ping it just says "ping bitmaintech.com"

And nothing else.

This is the highest speed I can get.

At least your hardware error rate is zero Cheesy

Haha. But on a serious note, try it with only one module ? Does the green light  blinks on any of the modules ?
Your network gateway is wrong.

Its the same as all my other machines. Is that wrong?

I have started getting the 404 Not Found error too.  I found that this URL works for me (replace with your S2 IP address):
http://192.168.1.99/index.html

Wow, nice work.  How the hell did you figure that out?  that's great news.
I don't currently have this problem, but it's probably coming, so it's sure nice to have this solution on deck.

If you figure out an explanation, please do share.

Nothing.

Whats a BBB?

As far as I can tell, since the boards are hot, its doing SOMETHING. Maybe mining for Bitmaintech??

But no hashrate.

Run a Bitcoin node.
sorry to pass out on you all but i was exhausted.

i said i can ping no problem IE ping with 0% loss = ping is possible

on BBB blue leds flash, red led is solid

on control board2 solid red leds. 1 solid green, and 1 flashing slowly green led.

ive pulled the short 'pigtail' ether cable and connected to the BBB directly....

LCD screen is ok  but the red and green lights to the right side are both off

and the back plane has 2 solid red leds, one on either side.

And STILL - 404 Not Found....

There is one blinking blue LED by the ethernet port cable.

There is a solid green LED on the middle card in the center of the rig.

There is a blinking green LED on the middle card in the center of the rig.

There is a solid red LED on the middle card in the center of the rig.

There are 2 solid red LEDs on the bott board where all of the other boards plug into. They are between cards 3 and 4 from the top, and 3 and 4 from the bottom.

Some of the cards are piping hot. Some are not.

This is my hash rate

Where is the power going?

if you boot to the point where the blue light comes up on the BBB, your LAN  router is in the 192.168.1.1, and 192.168.1.99 is in use on the network, then it *should* start hashing on it's own shortly after booting.

you can tell it's hashing when the activity lights on each board start blinking, and the hash rate on the front LCD climbs to around 1000.

so, what exactly does the lcd show after booting?

by bottom board do you mean the back plane that all the boards sit in?

How about a panoramic?

Can you guess which one I had to set-up in a hurry without all the shelves I needed? If one of those S1's in the center dies, it's staying dead! lol, they're all zip tied together!

Can you tell which are the Batch 1 and which are the Batch 2+? hint: LCD Backlights

Simply jaw-dropping.  Kudos!

My S2 has been mining overnight, so roughly 12+ hours now.  According to the graph on BTC Guild it was roughly 1 TH/s the whole time, with minor variations.

It was mining on my table at home, now I have moved it to my rack cabinet and I'm having some trouble.  It has powered up and started mining, but I can no longer access the web page or ssh into the miner!

I hate being locked out.  Has anyone had this problem?  Any solutions?

Edit: I can ping it.

You probably have a corrupted SD card.

Nice setup, Samsonn25.  Curious.  What are you using to power ur S1s?  Are they server class PSUs?  Details please.  Smiley

Not having fun with these.

Had to drill the screws to plug in the stupid ribbon cable. Had to take out a fan to get there. Internal ethernet cable is busted, had to replace it. Everything inside is covered in spooge. All the cards are loose and shaky.

Now Im stuck at 0gh/s. anyone have any ideas?
