You need to set a 192.168.1.x subnet address on your PC, e.g. 192.168.1.10, netmask 255.255.255.0.

Something to remember, when you select a power supply(s) keep in mind that even if you select the best 80 Plus Platinum supply, you'll want to get one rated at about twice (optimum/peak efficiency of most power supplies is around 50-60% of rated power) of what you'll be pulling through it. So if you have 2 S3's and they're overclocked and pulling 374w each, then that's about 750w, so you should be looking for something in the range of 1200-1500w in platinum or gold rated. (also keep in mind that some power supplies have multiple +12v rails that usually max. out at 30A each, which might not be enough for a overclocked S3, so a single +12v rail might be a better choice)
Also, if you want optimum efficiency, use a 240v source if available (some houses have a 220-240v line for washing/dryer, be sure to switch the selector on the power supply to the correct voltage before you plug it in) which should add about 2% addition efficiency.

Sorry to say this but you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

There is some inefficiency to account for in most PSUs but certainly not close to 50% on current PSUs. Most PSUs will happily run 24/7 at 80% (or more) of their rated watts. Some good quality PSUs will run 100%+.

Poor example: Bitmain used cheap 1000w Gold Enermax PSUs in their S2s. And those miners use 1000w pretty consistently. Mine pooped-out after two or three weeks but many others are still using them many months later.

If you read any decent power supply review that includes the efficiency curve, you'd know I was talking about the peak efficiency. Please read up before slamming someone, your response shows you don't know what I was referring to, people that don't know what you're talking about might take your response as educated and I feel sorry for those that might take your word on something you don't know about. Here's a simple power supply review that shows the peak efficiency is at about 50% (this random review I picked shows 89% efficiency at 600w and 85% efficiency at 1188w, meaning it's losing an additional 4% as heat at the peak power), there are many reviews out there that show that. http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story3&reid=222

Yeah, the sink isn't used...so we should be good to go. Needed a fresh outlet and an exhaust window for some more S3s so figured the laundry room would fit the bill.

To be fair, LTC difficulty has stalled for the last month, while previously it was rising 30-50% each month. Even the exchange rate has recovered from its low point. Doesn't mean it will last until December, but Titan buyers are now probably feeling slightly better than a month ago.

Hi, my problematic s3 started to show X's on the UI. it's at 218.75 frequency, but only hashes at 300gh/s. i was told by Bitmain to clean pcb and reapply thermal--which i did, but this did not seem to help. bad chips ? anyhow i am waiting on Bitmain once again. this s3 was out of commission for nearly a month with a bad control card, now it's missing over 140 gh/s. i got a real lemon from Bitmain.

That's not true. If the power supply has the capacity to deliver power for 2 S3,
then it will hash at the same rate as it will be in a single PSU.
But should make sure that you have enough +12V rail capacity.
A +12V Rails having 35A capacity can run an S3 safely and a +12V with 70A can run two S3 at the same hash rate as the earlier.

Depends. If Batch 8 sells out, you'll get Batch 9 and who knows when that will ship. If it's in stock they'll ship right away. The new batch timing depends on their production. It's a gamble.

In the end they still need to make money. Any smart business sets their pricing to maximize profit as they see fit. Sell fewer units at higher profit or sell more units for less profit. There is a sweet spot. If you don't like the price, don't buy.

I wanted to buy another 10 units but at .58 btc it seems to be a losing proposition especially when you add in the electric cost.
