Yeah. Disadvantages is more than the advantages when it comes to gambling. But there is still a few advantages of gambling.
The only advantage that I can think of about gambling is the entertainment. TBH, I am very entertained with the casinos.

No man, you can not say that at all. There are many people who after working 8-10 hours in their office come back to home, and they need some refreshment, and I have no reason to believe that why gambling is not good for them. The advantages of gambling will lie within gambler's perspective.

Overall there is no advantage from gambling. All you have to do is throw in some money and after playing you get lesser than the actual amount you have deposited before.

That is why I left gambling long ago. Its just a waste of time and nothing else.

poker needs to be played face to face around the table, it is not the same thing when you play it online. it is all reading the opponent and predicting their hand. but in order to play poker and consider yourself pro, you have to be real good at reading people and be a real professional poker player which is not an easy task to do.

Talking of advantage, when you are addicted to gambling you would have less time for other addictions.
Whatever strategy you make, you won't be rich gambling, (unless you cheat the system). Because whatever one may say it is still luck.
Personally I'm slightly in profit from gambling but counting those time wasted in learning to gamble, making strategy and placing the bet at correct time and place, I would have earned more if I had invested that time on something productive. I'm not leaving gambling anytime soon.

Winning and losing is a part of gambling and with experience users can learn how to cope up with the losses.
Initially, even I used to lose but I've noticed that ever since I have started gambling, losses don't affect me that much as I invest an amount that I can afford to lose and my winning amount has been always more than my losses.
That's the advantage of gambling.

At the end of the day, gambling is just as risky as any other business and hence winnings aren't guaranteed.

Yes, finding advantage of gambling is very much equalent into winning profits from gambling. I believe both are interlinked and unable to find. Only the lucky peoples find the advantage of gambling.

That depends namely on how much to bet. If your bet is much more likely than you can win more money.
If your little effort can you win a lot of small prizes to let you continue. They want you to think you can still win.
