i think there aren't advantages but risks. You can risk to win money, or you can risk to lose all (major of the time). No advantages, but risks, people love to take risks

I think some people are involved in gambling to earn extra money in quick time and to get rich. Some people just gamble for enjoyment and entertainment. Its a profit for them whenever they won and whenever they loose its a profit for houses which happens most of the time.
