If you are a beginner I will advise you to participate in airdrop. So you can understand that there are many scams and you have to be careful.

Just hold what you have now, and try to kearn more for a month. You already got good coins to hold and wait for profit. So now spend sometime here to gain knowledge more deep. Dont rushbtour self to learn all ib one moment.  Experience will make you good in crypto so just stay for a while building your knowledge

Before I give input it would be nice to congratulate joining crypto world, for beginner you better a lot of belazar and analyze sebuwah treding where in treding full of risk both to loss and earnings and you have to diligently posting at least one day one post until become member of JR what if you are interested in the gift you should diligently search for a good project, and you should follow the ico rules

I will say you should continue to keep adding to bitcoin. If you are not going to be involve with other profitable cryptocurrency activities, you might as well start profiting on bitcoin low price and by the time you buy for a long petiod of time, you will be amazed at how much of bitcoin you have accumulated!

Hi guys,

Newbie here trying to set up a crypto profile. 1 month ago I had heard the name Bitcoin but didn't know what it was other than a digital currency and had not heard of any alt coins so bear with me  Undecided

I don't have a huge amount to invest, thus far i have 0.13 BTC and 2 ETH, 2.6k XRP AND 50 OMG. I want to keep adding to this and keep it for as long as needed, i  am not really interested in trading as i don't understand this space enough to do that.

Any ideas or thoughts? Should i move any of these around? Concentrate on adding to bitcoin? Add to XRP/OMG etc etc???

Also i have a ledger nano s en route to keep my coins.

cheers

Better you try to invest your money elsewhere, crypto world is still very dangerous at this time.
There is still a conventional investment that can generate big profits, so you better delay your desire.

The best thing I can rightly say is, take your time to understand the market dynamics. Try to learn things about the market so that even in your investment, you won't make mistakes. Learn trading as well. Develop trading skills and you will definitely enjoy the market.

You are holding good crypto with you other than xrp ,focus on increasing quantity of btc as btc is always taken as base and its price will continue to grow.and if you are going for altcoin focus on eth, neo, eos, waves, qtum, etc these type of asset as they have solid team backing and they deliver their roadmap.

My suggestion keep you doing research about the coin you have because it's your beginning to get better and if you can not trade because it will be very difficult for you to understand it so you will have a chance to lose your coin again.

I am also a newbie like you and I have acquired a little knowledge about the whole technology. My advice to you as a fellow newbie is research and study cryptocurrency. This forum has a lot of great source of materials you can read and learn from. It is better to be equipped with knowledge before venturing into this cryptocurrency world.

so I see you're pretty advanced now, so you're not just a newbie x), you can start by diversifying your portfolio a little more, I won't tell you mine so they don't call me shill, but you should research well before investing, it's always advisable to invest in something that you think will work for something in the future, so you won't be hurt by the price volatility.

My advice for newbie  is that don't see crypto trading as a get rich quick business.  In as much as its easy to make profit is also very easy to make loss.  Use like 3 months to do demo trading

My advice for newbies that are coming into crypto is that they should take their time to have a very good knowledge and understanding of what crypto is all about because this will help them go a long way in the community and if they want to invest, they should always that time and patience to do a very good research about the project or coin they want to invest in and be very sure that it is a good one before they invest in it. They should also take time to have a good strategic plan of how to invest and for how long to hold and they should also know when to invest and when to sell, most important of all, they shouldn't be greedy with their gains.

my advice for a newbie should firstly research about cryptocurrency and analyze the market, then start with airdrop it is the easiest way to earn free token and similarly bounty campaign is also the most beneficial way to earn coin by promoting different types of ICO. You can invest a small amount of capital in Altcoins and Bitcoin after doing your own research and taking into consideration the benefits of a particular project.  Smiley
