For newcomers who have just invested, I feel that a small amount of money should go in and try the water, look at the market, take it slowly, don't worry, or you will lose it easily.

Your way to invest is good. you are investing in some good coins in technology and highly prospective in the future. my advice in bad market conditions it is better you hold your coins until you get the profit you want.

Don't be afraid to try learning and researching about this world gaining more knowledge. Try reading more about their white paper for you to know more about them. Better for you to start reading and learning, collect some information all about crypto markets and understands all about them. You will find out what are you going to do.  Wink

As a newbie you should do a lot of research about cryptocurrency including the good and bad sides of it so that you’ll know not just only the advantages. I believed that it would help you more to decide if you’re going to really engaged yourself in it.

Hi guys,

Newbie here trying to set up a crypto profile. 1 month ago I had heard the name Bitcoin but didn't know what it was other than a digital currency and had not heard of any alt coins so bear with me  Undecided

I don't have a huge amount to invest, thus far i have 0.13 BTC and 2 ETH, 2.6k XRP AND 50 OMG. I want to keep adding to this and keep it for as long as needed, i  am not really interested in trading as i don't understand this space enough to do that.

Any ideas or thoughts? Should i move any of these around? Concentrate on adding to bitcoin? Add to XRP/OMG etc etc???

Also i have a ledger nano s en route to keep my coins.

cheers

Obviously need to understand first, understand what you want to do, and do not be afraid to ask. Since this is an investment, do not lose money.

My advice is that you should invest in another world. Crypto is very risky if you are a beginner, if you do not know the basics.
So learn to understand first, crypto trend is very fluctuating.

Advice for a "newbie" would be to do good research before investing into any Altcoin or Bitcoin. It's a world full of risks! In the cryptoworld, you win some and you lose some ofcourse but you can prevent losses or fails from happening by checking before investing.
I believe you can participate first in Bounty programs and Airdrops too, read forums regarding coins and ICO's!

Knowledge is power. What a newbie should do is to spend time researching about how cryptocurrency works to be able to have an idea if you’re going to engage yourself in it. Participate in bitcoin forum and read topic and replies of other crypto users here. It could help a lot.

Crypto currency exchange is an integral part of the crypto currency world, so you need to be able to trade on it. When you begin to trade in crypto currencies, you will begin to study projects more thoroughly and thereby increase your knowledge of crypto currency.

Learning, taking risks and not easily give up, maybe that's my advice. Because whatever it is it all takes learning and trying.
And one more, crypto is not a careless world.

According to my own experiences, never connect the whole of the money to one. Split Riski. Distribute. If you do that, maybe you will not lose much. Another recommendation is to investigate too. Do not go in with anything you said without knowing.

I am also not a master of this field of life but I would like to give my idea which have related to others suggestions and advises. Better to trust yourself when you have knowledge than to trust and rely others ability. Better to put your money in investment that you can overcome in case you will be at loose.

The first advice I can make for new members is to be patient and start practicing after they have had enough experience. This way you can get more comfortable income and you can have enough knowledge on many subjects. Also, if you need to come to the rank of rank, it will be easier to open helpful topics, write messages with help and make references to resources easier. For that reason, it will be much more beneficial for you to acquire necessary knowledge and experience without expecting earnings for the first few periods.

My advice to newbies are to research a good campaign you want to join. Dont trust people easily. If you invest it. Be carefulyou might he scammed. So in my opinion better keep your money or coins first before investing.

You are right, nowadays one of the biggest problems in the cryptocurrency world are the scammers. There are a lot of and as example they sent mails like that they are from Myetherwallet or something. It is very important that newbies do not believe in such things.

You can use Markowitz portfolio theory to diversify your investment by creating a portfolio of coins, this will help reduce unsystematic risk of loss. In other words spread your investment, don't focus on bitcoin alone.

Even in such short time, you have collected so many good coins and that in big numbers. You can get rich overnight if the market goes up.  This is really a very good and big investment that you have made. And a very profitable one also.
It is true if we invest in cryptocurrency can quickly become rich,
but anyway now we can not as we expected because crypto market is down,
so we must be patient first to be able to get big profit
