It doesn't make sense to go all in on anything. That's the biggest mistake one can make in his/her financial life.

Always make a portfolio, divide your wealth in various assets. Bitcoin maybe one of them. It maybe the major one or the minor one. It all depends on the risk you are willing to take.

I am not much of a risk taker so I keep it around %10.

No, I don't have all my money invested in btc or any other crypto currency. Maybe around 10%-20% only because I still have other portfolio like stocks and mutual fund investment locally. For me, if you are really into investment, you need to diversify. That's the first thing I learn when I started investing specially in stock years ago.

I have about 30% of my life savings in bitcoin. I am very pro bitcoin but I'm not comfortable having 100% in bitcoin (even though I would have made even more of a shit load of money if I had done so).

Although bitcoin grows strong and stable, however, it is still a virtual currency, there are always certain risks when you invest in it. For many people, perhaps they think that bitcoin is safe, however, I think they were wrong, it always sought to hide the risk of collapse, especially when the altcoins grow stronger. I never invest too much in bitcoin.

technically as young bitcoiner, i realized that sometimes u cant even afford to be broke in banks. u have to maintain balance for ur money to still have interest. Where as bitcoin, broke is broke rich is rich. It's easy to transact and many ways to withdraw it. True that it takes time for confirmations but isnt it the gist why blockchain is created? Most of the money i spent was with bitcoin so i have no problem having all my earnings in bitcoin.

If you are keeping track of the price value of bitcoin it landed on the $1400 value I think you are happy with the result of it rising it's value, but as of now the value fluctuate back to $1397.37 well I don't know the real reason for this but if you are considering that your decision in making all of your money into bitcoin a good thing? well for my opinion I think you can have a bit of a problem if the impending facts have happen number 1 the fork will occur, or regarding the halving if it will still happen like that, but it is good that it not happen, 2 internet connection will be shutdown and be a mare history in the face of the earth that O am praying not to happen, will be a great treat for you!

sometimes i get scared about how much of my money is in bitcoin and then start selling a bit of it to balance things out.
i had a plan a couple of months ago to keep my total worth in 50% bitcoina nd 50% fiat but after all these months have passed i am still in about 90% bitcoin and 10% fiat and no matter how much bitcoin i sell these percentages don't change!

Hahaha you are lucky to have done that, Mr Richie rich lol. I also had wanted to do the same allocation from last September but my finances suddenly became very tight, so was restricted not to make the jump, which I till date regret it. But I do hope you are profit booking, or having some strong alts though I don't like alts, some people made good money on them. Lastly must say you took a risk and that's going to make you rich and rich.

I think there are a lot of people put all of their investment into bitcoin or alt coin because it is very profitable for now, most of the coin I saw got a good rise and some of them rise 20% in a day, but I don't put all of my money to crypto because I don't like to take risks I only put the amount that I can afford to lose which is not more than 50% of my wealth

dear taxman i have x% of my money in bitcoin and have not been paying my taxes, i am declaring this on public forum that a lot of you 3 letter agencies are watching so you can come after me and screw me over. thanks for your services. <3

I suppose it depends on your jurisdiction or your willingness to participate in evasion. Bitcoin is not an interest bearing instrument, so there are no taxes to be paid on interest. If I buy something with BTC, the merchant will slap sales tax on the cost of the purchase. If I exchange my BTC for fiat, I may or may not be liable for capital gains tax. Taxes paid or not applicable.

I put almost all of my money in bitcoin because i believe that i will not regret it because the price will reach $2000 soon. So i decided to put almost all of my money and buy a lot of bitcoins when it was around 900-1000 USD price and now it is getting closer to 1500 USD mark price so i think bitcoin is doing pretty good and soon i will double my money and enjoy it Cool.

I do not put all my money on Cryptocurrency, because I will have a problem when I do that, I still need fiat currency for my daily needs, payment for bills and weekly budget.  I also diversify and invest in different venture outside cryptocurrency.  Probably around 20% of my fiat is allocated to cryptocurrency though I admit it gives me the best return of investment.

I guess all of us dont put all of our money in a investment on cryptocurrency we can see the succes in this aspect but still risky and you will never do to invest all of your money if the btc price quickly go down your money just gone all.

even better for me, i didn't had any fiat to begin with, and all my money were generated from altcoin and bitcoin, i keep them here they are much safer than in any bank, i do have a bank account though..

basically 100% crypto but i did dump here and there to buy foods and other stuff that require fiat, still dreaming of a world where i can pay with bitcoin only or some altcoin too

If you're asking if anyone is as confident in Bitcoin as you are, the answer will be no 95% of the time. People know to not invest more than they can afford to lose. Also, if you lose your credit card, there's no worry because you're covered. If you lose your wallet's passphrase to someone else... Irreversible loss.

we are all confident in bitcoin as a technology since we see the code and many understand it, we are confident in bitcoin as a payment system aka as a currency that we can use to pay for stuff online. but none of these have anything to do with the price and going all in (95% in) bitcoin because that is about price and price is not something to me sure enough about to do such a thing although history suggests that an all in has been a good idea so far.

Since he had not told me before the Investment but after the bulk return profit he told me about his this story of Earning .
So here now I am also looking to turn my all saving into the bitcoin but currently the price seems very high , so I am waiting for the perfect timing .
And why not in the cryptocurrency a word is big famous in my friends community " risk is a part of earning , if you will take risk than you will make money " . Smiley

Most of my savings are in fiat or investment funds and as it was a long term plans I dont intend to break them and put that money into BTC or altcoins. So whatever I earn in BTC, I just keep it in BTC for my future. So it might be like 1-2% of my total savings.
