It was very profitable to participate in Bounty campaigns in 2017 and at the beginning of 2018, there were many worthy projects. Today, there are only few projects and you usually earn about 10$ per project if you participate in Social Media campaigns.
2018 also ended badly for the bounty campaign. although there are many projects, in 2018 there are a lot of scam projects. even those who make successful publications do eventually disappear and cannot survive the market conditions. Until now there are not many campaign projects that pay well for the participants.

my advice
1. if your activity is not interrupted, better do it
2. you know the current conditions so whatever the outcome, accept
3. don't focus too much on this hunt/bounty because we know the results are not like the previous years
if you can do and accept these points I think just do it, who knows we will join a really good project Smiley
very helpful advice. however, if the bounty does not interfere with your activities, and does not become your main income, then that will help. I did this in 2017, and it really succeeded in making me fascinated by the bounty. maybe at the moment it is quite difficult to find a bounty that is really profitable, but I feel that now the crypto world is starting to move again, so I think the bounty will become a profitable thing again.

Hi,

I didn't get any valuable tokens for several months in bounties (even the promised tokens without any value) .

Are you still earning money with them or just a few bucks (which is not worth to bother)?

In 2017 and 2018, it was so profitable. Now, what is the situation?

Should I start again?

I am still doing some bounty hunting right now. But unfortunately, most of the rewards I get is very low in value. Missing those times when bounty hunting is a very attractive and rewarding activity. But I hoping that this year will be different. The market is somewhat changing to bullish situation and hopefully big bounty rewards would go with it.

I am still making money from bounty and I am currently working on it. A few months ago I participated in Yobit's bounty and it helped me to earn money for months, and now the campaign I am participating in is also great. You can check it out and join it if you want

From where we were in 2017 the model has changed. IEOs/ICOs have reduced the opportunity to earn bounties....but that's also systematic of the difficult time crypto has had in the last two years. Should we find ourselves in a bull market again, and "alt season" really kick in....I'm sure we'll see bounties pick up again. Not sure they will ever reach the profitability heights of 2017, but don't see things getting much worse than they are now.
many new methods for collecting funds because in my opinion it is caused by the number of scammers who make investors disappointed so that they are currently collecting investor funds only from the safest methods such as IEO at a trusted exchange place because if using the ICO method investors are not trusting and not interested again.

Many still earning from bounty, there is something meaningful to get from bounty especially signature, translations. The miners and the wealthy traders may have nothing to do with bounty because the token may not be worthwhile enough to make a meaning to them, but it is that crumbs that many hustle for and make life with. Bounty is still very much relevant, it should not stop.

Many are walking out from bounties and look for another opportunity in the forum. This may clear everyone that bounties aren't promising to look by and worth to participate with. Scam, unsuccessful project, broken promises, and no market value...it gonna be found in bounties. But I know that this thing never means to put an end to bounties because there are still a few of them trying to rebuild its good reputation.

Yes, we all felt disappointed and not to trust for new projects but we should have to think also that it will be resolved soon and change the image of crypto if we all never give support for scam/fake projects.

Today IEO has replaced ICOs, so they do not need to conduct marketing to attract investors. For that reason, bounty has also died and there have been very few successful bounty in the past year. But if you work hard and try, you can still get a small amount of money from bounty

Take it or leave it people are still making money from bounty projects, it requires big patience and persistence now unlike in 2017 when you can rely on a single bounty project for profit, now things are far more harder, you need to create your chance by joining many bounties

Not really get benefit earning bounty right now.

Because most of ICO/IEO not really good and still have unsuccesfull project, the bounty already not really worth at all, right now i spend my time fully mining alternate coins to gain some pasive income.
In 2019, in my opinion it is the era of IEO to get profit because the one that started was a very good market, namely binance, don't compare IEO Binance with IEO in other markets that only seek profit

I still get income from the bounty. Because bounties are not only from articles/signatures. I work on other bounties like stickers, bugs, and so on. By doing that, I get paid first than working on articles, signatures/social media. And can get paid eth or btc. So no need to think about the price of tokens.
To participate in the bug bounty needs a lot of effort and i think that not so many projects are offering a nice reward. I see some people are still getting paid from some bounties and everyone gets around $400.
Just think about where it was getting listed and how much liquidity

Personally, I think that there are practically no promising projects in which you can participate. But from time to time promising projects appear and it is very pleasing. Since I participate in the bounty already in 2017, that is, such projects where tokens have not yet been paid, and this is the reason why I still participate in different projects. Hoping to get good rewards. So, starting to participate in projects again makes some sense, since the situation on the cryptocurrency market is changing and it is likely that promising projects will appear in the short term.

Its same for many, some are paying bounty hunters and most are not paying, I'd say it doesn't make sense to keep joining every bounty projects you come across, you have to be selective or stay focus on trusted bounty managers in this forum

Well in my perspective, as soon as the market goes up, bounties will for surely gonna go back and it will be successful again. The bitcoin halving will be the main reason why it will become successful. Almost all of the bounty campaign last 2017 when the price of bitcoin reach its peak is always successful. Bounty campaign that time give a huge amount of profit so, I am pretty sure that it will be back after halving.

The main problem is the difficulty of finding a campaign of a project that has real ambitions and will actually be implemented or will be developed continuously. Those who don't have it will not be affected by market price trends.

It's good to know that you're still earning from bounties because I know on this current days most of bounty projects are worthless but I don't mean to say that all of them. Having the skills just like you have mentioned will definitely give you an income and it's good see that they're willing to pay you in Ethereum or Bitcoin. There's still some bounty hunters that who still believe on the capabilities of bounty campaign knowing that there is no guaranteed revenue. Have you notice that there are many users who are now joining in the signature campaign that only pays on bitcoin.

The situation of bounties these days are not good. I still earning from the bounties but it was just a few bucks and some were just abandoned the project because of failed to reach their target cap. I'm still hoping to spot a good bounty.

I have seen some thread here that tackles about last bounty campaign which most of them are success or even reach their hard cap. You can still spot a good bounty project out there but it takes time to found one but never get tired on joining because what if the bounty campaign that you have found will bring you enough money.

Due to exchanges providing marketing services for IEOs there's now less requirements in this area for bounty campaigns, although there still is a reasonable amount of social media campaigns available to anyone who's interested in those but other than that its mostly signatures for higher ranked members
