It's just people are emotionally attached to btc like it's a gold among silvers, just like usd to other currency, people tend to save up their money in form of usd when something bad happen.they always think that usd is the safest, things like that happen in the cryptocurrency world, people think that holding btc is the safest, that pretty much explain the current condition.
