My simple result is no, not each altcoins are vain. Nearly of them are. Any altcoins achieve pushing the bounds of what is potential, are search to move modern and breathless rules and distance to save powerfulness in defense, apply superlative characteristic etc.They require a valid growth group and to be dynamic. Nearly alts were aloof a moneygrab and humans bought in during the ballyhoo on the other hand lacked relevant growth. They furthermore captivated work of humans modern to the crypto place.

Personally I think that altcoins will rise and become more popular than Bitcoin in the future. This is because due to several drawbacks of bitcoin.

Another thing is that bitcoin mining needs a considerable power consumption. Therefore, alternative algorithms like PoS will be prefered by the people as those algorithms don't need such a power consumption.
I agree that there are so many useless altcoins. However, my opinion is altcoins that can truly facilitate mass adoption with less barriers won't be useless.

Exactly. That's the unfortunate truth nowadays. Developers are only interested in making money, instead of delivering a working product for the mainstream world to use. We have the situation where most altcoins are simply copies from other prominent cryptocurrencies on the market. Such altcoins become useless over time, because they don't provide unique features from other cryptocurrencies that are higher in market cap.
Still, I believe that as time passes by, people will realize that only Bitcoin and Ethereum are needed. As such, most altcoins will become abandoned while only a select few will remain actively traded on the market. We all know that the crypto space advances at a fast pace. Which is why, cryptocurrencies that are unable to keep up with the competition, will become abandoned for the next big thing in the mainstream world.
Nonetheless, only the top 5 to 10 cryptocurrencies in market cap seem to be the most useful. Others below that, might have some use or no use at all. Hence, having money invested in said cryptocurrencies will give you an advantage in the future. Just my thoughts

It will be depend from the project. I think if the project will be make use in their ecosystem, that coin will be valuable. Like the exchanger project, coins will be used everyday for pay the trading fees.
no its not as long as they have goal abd they can achieve it with their team ,abd also as long as they are active ,the token being called useless or sh*t coin are the one who abandoned by their founder/team.

Many of altcoins are useless and we can't make profits but this project offers a good alts that we can hold on the future and this coin is the Dencoin tokens.

If you rmthink alts are useless then no need of having them , just hold you btc or fiat and less the alts rest in any way.
