Hey,

I see that we've finally entered a bullish phase (not sure how long this is going to last). I think it will be good for May pending any kind of FUD. June is the adsense FUD.

But anyway, I've read some articles that say that alts are making a comeback and money is pouring into alts... but these same articles caution that experts think that soon money will be pouring into bitcoin from alts. They say the infusion of money into alts is only temporary.

I'm sure most of you have seen that when BTC rallies too fast, alts crash. I was wondering if you guys think that a fast BTC rally is in the immediate future?

Are you hodling alts or are you going to go into BTC to ride out the BTC pump, then buy all the crashed alts?

How could you be wrong in the month of April and thought that the bulls had finally come, but how it turned upside down. These were all actions of speculators who are still shaking the situation, making even worse conditions for investment.
Those who want to join into speculations and make decisions about the things they hear rather than focusing on what they see, are the caliber of people that the market always tend to affect the most in the long run because they are blending with speculations and not trend.

Altcoins are really showing some great sign of improvement though, and it is obvious how huge they have hit the bottom as it is, but I see it as a great opportunity, considering we might see a chance to see them recover soon.

With so many coins and tokens currently registered in various exchanges, it is only natural to make the competition very tight and of course have more coins and tokens to die.
Well, there is no doubt in the long run, that we will end up having altcoins that will definitely end up taking the hit as the case may be, but one thing here that we also have to understand is that future is always a hard thing to know because we cannot know it, but we can only play with the present, take advantage of the opportunities and make a better future for ourselves.

For most of the altcoins without product, there is no possibility of seeing them grow substantially in the long run, and this is an area where people should always consider before investing in anything.

I hope it is not going to crash again. We've taken so much loss in the market and I think no one is productive right now especially the people who can't invest on any coin because of lack of money. As a bounty hunter, the only thing I can do is wait for the rewards and wait for my coins to grow.

It's a good strategy and you should try it. I think your strategy will be justified for you. Do not ask anyone about your strategy because they do not understand how your process is analyzed. Work independently and earn a lot of money from your own power, which will make you happy.

If I'll buy alts, I wouldn't sacrifice my bitcoin for it.

My bitcoins are good to long term hold and I have rule to myself that I'll never move it unless its all time high again or higher. As for alts, not all of them are worth to get with. They may crash and you can see that its a good buy but don't assess quickly cos it might be a trap.

Many altcoins have been able to supply the deficiencies of bitcoin through technological improvements that have made the use of cryptocurrencies a more user-friendly experience, allowing faster and cheaper transactions, and improving issues such as scalability and energy consumption.

Therefore, I do not think they will disappear, although the current abundance of altcoins seems unjustifiable and unnecessary, so it is likely that in the long term many of them tend to fall into oblivion or abandonment.

The altcoins have already crashed look at the ethereum when in January it as at 1500 USD now after six months it has depreciated to 500 USD a 300 percent decrease in its market value but this will not approach to a point of no recover as it is only a correction phase

I also think that there is a shortage of funds in the market now, and it is easy for other tokens to plummet due to the independence of certain tokens!

Yes, in reality it is all too evident that Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency that has been able to generate trust among long-term investors, and the vast majority of other altcoins are only serving as instruments of short-term speculation, and that is why as soon as a coin experiences a major pump from one day to another, the next day its price plummets drastically.

It is a pity that the speculators do not care at all about the technology developed in serious and interesting altcoins, for them all are only pump and dump schemes.

Fud from the beginning of the year has limits altcoins market especially the issue of banning across the globe! The coins has been down since you make that post and we should be able to start seeing some bullish set up any moment from this month we are in. However the month of June till August has been the best months in the history of cryptocurrencies and I am expecting good days ahead.

Although Altcoins are dipping right now but same with the Bitcoin price too so therefore the whole of the Crypto market is in difficult right now but i have observed many times that the Altcoins will crash if the Bitcoin will crash first in which something called like a domino epic movement. So therefore if you expect that the Altcoins will crash then it will start with the Bitcoin first making you a little bit to confuse which coins to buy during the dip.

I don't think altcoins are going to be crashed Smiley. You can take a look at gainers and losers on Coinmarketcap to find out altcoin with highest change in price Smiley.

Although the downward trend affected a lot to price of altcoin but it'll not make Altcoins crashed Smiley. Just wait cause the whole market need time to be able to retrieve, it can't happen in a few single days Smiley

That still part of price cycle but not necessary a crash. If you see a sign that the price of the altcoins will going to go down or up soon then monitor the daily price of bitcoin. Bitcoin almost affect the prices of all altcoins whether it is rising or falling. Some coins or tokens can't sustain their uptrend and will eventually drop later because of bitcoin influence.

To be honest, I think that the ALTs crashed in Jan 18 is because of the unwarranted exponential growth during the end of 17. ALTs are simply just undergoing a correction phase, and if you think of it, some of the ALTs don't even deserve their current valuation. I'm looking at you EOS (money grabbing vaporware).

We will observe this situation for more than two months, unfortunately. Now there is a market correction after a large sudden growth.

I don't think so Smiley. I can't imagine how this cryptocurrency market will be if alts crashed Smiley). All traders and investors only have one choice to choose, BTC Cheesy
Beside I don't think there is any reason can make altcoin crashed so don't worry about it cause I believe that this case will never happening in the future.

Altcoins have major marketshare now as compared to the BTC. Sooner or later BTC will be overpowered by a utility token. A coin without an intrinsic value can't sustain the market pressure. An utility token (an altcoin) will be the winner in long run. This temporary bloodshed of the market doesn't mean that the altcoins are over. This happens due to the lack of volume in the market because market is still in the infancy stage and is still growing. Market isn't able to attracts new money doesn't mean that it will never.

No. Even though this cryptocurrency is a very volatile system, just like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.” So until there are people investing in altcoins, altcoins lives. It goes dip in the hole but it will be pump again.
