Today they are turning their heads. Perhaps the market is returning to the red, so let's take the altcoin or sell it right now, I'll sell my ETH, the ETH is heading back. They do not continue to increase as many people predict.
Not bad of doing that, it is just the way we secured our investment and just to buy it back when market stabilized again.
Anyway, that's how we play in the market and such smart doing really make us more profitable than of holding it for a long time. If you are really a good traders you may find your self very comfortable even market are in dip or not.

The truth is that everything depends on the developers. An example is Dogecoin - it was created for a joke, and for many years it remains on the top coins list. If there is a creative team behind the project, it will succeed.

Crashing is only. Fake news and nothing have any significance as only those who do not want it to rise make such news and smart people would just do opposite and buy it and when price rises they do make money and other feel they lost the opportunity of making the money in this market .

Actually when BTC rallies fast, alts rallies even faster. At least that's what I've noticed.

I'm holding my existing alts, and not buying anymore. Cashing out along the way as well. I don't think that this is the start of a new bull market. Rather, it's just a temporary halt in the bearishness of the market, thus the rally.

I think BTC is due for a correction very soon, and as a result, alts may crash alongside BTC and even outpace the losses that BTC incurs. I just don't see FUD due to regulations going away any time soon, as it affects ICOs a lot.

Well, I was going to say that maybe you haven't been trading long enough to see what happens when BTC pumps hard. But then, again, you're a Hero Member, which means you've been on bitcointalk and in crypto for like a year... So I guess you've seen more than me =)

in my own experience, when BTC rallies hard, like last Nov/Dec, alts just take a beating because everyone FOMOs into BTC. And then went BTC crashes hard, alts crash too.

But there's a golden median, when BTC rallies slowly and gradually, then alts get to flourish alongside it.

Anyway, I'm sure you have better experience trading in crypto, so it would be great to hear your insight on what happens when BTC rallies hard and when alts rallied harder with it. I would really like to know -- it sounds like a dream. I'd like to investigate such a time period and see what variables existed then to cause the ideal rally-to-rally.

What you say also makes sense, I guess. Maybe we're in for a correction. It's kind of hard to look through crypto news because it's just so much crowd-pleasing. Everyone just wants to talk about the current moment rather than the possibilities ahead for FOMO and FUD.

But i do see some new FUD, like Coinbase now suspending trading for certain groups (Wikileaks shop). And also the EU going for stricter regs: https://www.ccn.com/european-union-votes-for-closer-regulation-of-cryptocurrencies/

Hey,

I see that we've finally entered a bullish phase (not sure how long this is going to last). I think it will be good for May pending any kind of FUD. June is the adsense FUD.

But anyway, I've read some articles that say that alts are making a comeback and money is pouring into alts... but these same articles caution that experts think that soon money will be pouring into bitcoin from alts. They say the infusion of money into alts is only temporary.

I'm sure most of you have seen that when BTC rallies too fast, alts crash. I was wondering if you guys think that a fast BTC rally is in the immediate future?

Are you hodling alts or are you going to go into BTC to ride out the BTC pump, then buy all the crashed alts?

It appears like that but I am not going to sell anytime soon as in my opinion it is just a trap and we will see some moons.

Why do you think so? I'm seeing alts and ICO token stronger day after day.

The future belongs to blockchain based fintech ICOs. They are disrupting niche after niche.

If this is only bull trap then we can see bigger crash. Maybe Bitcoin will go down below 6k this time and most alts can't survive in this situation. This is the dark side that can happen anytime. When we see the bright side almost all coins are up from 10 to 30 percent. This is clearly not enough but better than nothing after all these desperate months.

Bitcoin will not crash again, I believe the correction is done and its time to pump now, this is not a bull trap the market will continue to soar high this year. Altcoins will also survive no matter what the price of bitcoin, believe on great coins.

I don't think Altcoins are going to crash soon, even we are just getting started, just look at where we were in January and where we are now, though I agree with your assumption that if BTC price continue to grow soon Altcoins will not be able to keep up with its growth again and start to dump
