I'm currently searching for probably fair games and how they work. Are you guys playing this? If so, which games do you recommend?

Probably fair games, do they depend solely and exclusively on luck or on skills too?

What is your understanding about probably fair games? Maybe you can give an example of the games along with the casino so you can get better responses.
However, whether it is provably fair or probably fair, game of luck will always depending on your own luck.
You can win when you are lucky and you can lose when you are on your bad luck time.
How about skills? What kind of skill you are referring to? Skill to play the game to make you have bigger chance to win or other skills?
It's probably fair that we don't bet against a system and don't be arrogant in front of a casino because with a programmed system, a coincidence seems rare, it's all just the house's plan, and like regular casinos, the equipment, tools and skills of the house are too professional, someone who lacks qualifications in this field like us will be fooled. It's better to socialize with friends we already know, but of course, it's difficult to talk about fairness when everyone's skills and familiarity with gambling are different, luck is also on the list and it is difficult to balance these independent factors

In a game of luck there's no skills involved, just knowing how to play the game is already enough. If there is a house edge which certainly what we are discussing here, it would be unrealistic if we believe that we can win with our skills, that's not gonna happen. OP just asking if we are winning in prob(v)ably games, and the answer is yes, because its winnable but all of us still loses in the long run.

For game of luck, it's enough to verify that games are transparent, but at the same time, we should also understand that even  if games are transparent, the house edge still dictate our winning chances, which is lower than 50% all the time.

The only difference between what we could call "classic gambling" from provably fair gambling is how the latter offers a mechanism in which there is a way for you to independently proof the casino is not cheating in order to get more money out of you.
Gambling, regardless it is provably fair or not, will be always about luck and not much about skill, in the most of the games.

I personally encourage people to try some provably fair games in their gambling sessions and learn how to use their seed to check the fairness of the game they are partaking in.
In stake, for example, they have they own selection of provably fair games which were done and designed by themselves for people who like either dices, Plinko, mines... you call it. It is called "Stake's originals".
My favorite is dices and blackjack, though I have not had much luck with dices and just moderate luck with blackjack.

anyways. I wish as technology advances people will learn how to check their games and seeds, so the baseless accusations of scams by reputable casinos decrease.

I don't usually care about fair games on my previous bets because I only play and then exit but if there really are that kind of fair games then we would be happy if anyone would share it here if they don't mind it. I've been looking for game like that but it's hard to tell not unless experienced gamblers will share their thoughts on it.

As long as you don't stop right after a loss, there will be a time that you will get lucky, except only if you are sticking on a scam casino of course. Provably fair games are normal in crypto because I think it is related with the blockchain. I don't have a deep knowledge about it but what I only know is that we can verify our results by pasting some values in a box, while if you mean about the games, then they are the same with other casino games where all you need to do is to place a bet, push that button and watch how the action goes in your screen.

Honestly provably fair games are not capable of bringing any changes in my gambling activities; I mean I am facing same kind of loses at the end of the day. Moreover, there are no specific games to start since the goal in gambling is only to enjoy but you can go on what you truly like the most. Good Luck Smiley.

Probably fair games are basically the house game of most casino. I play this occasionally when I want quick game version blackjack since it is fast game compared to the live games blackjack version

I do play dice before to farm wager when I have an early profit and doesn’t want to risk more to secure profit.

Probably fair games are pure random code to the randomness set by the code so definitely base on luck alone.

First,  believe some other users much have pointed out this error, but then, let's correct it again, it's "provably fair" not "probably fair" as you termed it.
Though I understand that sometimes, our keyboard like to have a mind of their own, but you must always re-read what you typed before clicking the post button to avoid such errors.

Mostly every game, casino or slot games are termed as provably fair by casinos that have this system in place, but before you proceed to playing this games, you have to first of all understand what provably fair means..
And based on my own understanding, provably fair can be referred to as a gaming system that is built to make winning and or losing in a game; fair for everyone playing that game, that is, winning is fair for the player, and the casino.

And yeah, provably fair games are mostly luck dependent, which means, you need luck on your side to win, slot and casino games are a good example, and some skilled based games too.
I have many of such games I am playing, but I can't recommend any at the moment.

Provably fair is an algorithm, not games.

Not all games are using provably fair system, usually in house games use this, which is lucky based games.

Can we win in lucky based games? nope, this games has house edge, you will not able to beat the house in the long run. Hoping to win in lucky based games is just like a dream, even you hit the jackpot, you might be in loss if you spend more than what you earn.

Actually, I feel quite conflicted because of the concepts given, but in my experience, fairness is based on one's own decision.

For me, the odds of winning in any type of betting are always lower than the odds of losing. Before, I participated in a game related to online over/under. I always thought everything was fair until I learned about the manipulation of players. own when they can choose the winning/losing side and can deposit money to balance the betting side then earn profit. In general, it's fun and not too fond of these types of games, but in most forms of gambling, fairness is like luxury.
Maybe we don't know what fair means because basically everyone has their own view of what fair gambling is like, so it's also very difficult if fair means we have to equalize fair according to the casino, maybe they have their own view.

I agree that the chances of losing are far greater than winning, the fact is also that the defeat is far more than the victory, whether it's playing against the house, playing based on skill and others too, so fair is where for a gambler only ourselves can see that, without blaming the casino for acting unfairly to its customers, although there are some that can be manipulated I just simply avoid the casino and will never play there after it is proven that they cheat on their customers.

This explains the words provably fair, (which I think what you imply).

Provably fair explained
Provably fair is an algorithm based on technologies that allow online randomization to step up and reach a new level of fairness and openness. In short, the algorithm uses the benefits of the blockchain in order to make actions of randomization, such as shuffling a deck of playing cards or flipping a coin, as random as they can be. The difference between provably fair and the typical black box algorithms that are now used in the gaming industry? The process of randomization is verifiable by all players of a certain game. The infographic below explains it all. Looking for a trusted provably fair casino?

You can verify it so you can ensure that casinos are not cheating you. The tip here is very simple, don't play with games that are not "provably fair" because they might cheat you and you'll never gonna win at all.

But do not forget that no matter how provably fair casino games are, they are designed in a way the casino will earn more money from gamblers. Gamble responsibly with the amount of money that you can afford to lose.
They also have the house edge, so the question is if we are winning. The answer is very simple: sometimes we win, but most of the time we lose. That's how it works in gambling, which is why the trend is that casinos are growing because they are profitable, while the majority of gamblers are losing money.

Game of luck, this is what we call it, and that provably fair system ensures that we can trust the game is fair.

Maybe the question here is how to verify if the game is provably fair.

True!, it is a system where one can check whether the outcome of the game is manipulated or not.  I believe the provably game is first heard in a forum in the year 2012 but it was implemented in the late 2000[1].  The given link below simply show how the provably fair game work thus answer on how someone will verify if the game is provably fair.

@OP most reputable crypto casinos have provably fair games which can be verified through the hashes given on each bet we made.  So if you are looking for provably fair games then you can just look at the list of casinos that are acknowledged by the many members of this forum as reputable which can be seen on this thread created by Pmalaek : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.56883071

It is called provably fair games, not probably fair games.

Provably fair games means the games that can be proved of no cheating or manipulation. You can see such games on reputed casino sites.

That's what I thought so, It is a game that has no manipulations and cheating involved and some gamblers participate in this kind of gambling when they want to win fairly by the use of their luck and skills.

Yeah right, thanks for the tips and advice, Everyone's aware that we should use the money that we can afford to lose only and always be attentive and vigilant because there's a lot of scams casino site nowadays.

If you gamble at a reputable casino, you will find the games are "provably fair" and will not cheat you. Reputable casinos maintain their reputation and will provide good service for all their games. Usually, I only play slot games but never think about it because I gamble at the casinos on this forum. That's enough for me and I don't need to think about anything because I gamble at a well-known and reputable casino. But we need luck to be lucky and if we lose, it's not because of the casino's fault or the casino cheated us but because we didn't have luck in gambling.

The only fair games I know related to gambling are sports betting. Yes, it sounds surprising, but I really think so. What I mean? What I'm saying is that by making any bet you can immediately see how your teams played and if you were right, then you will win. This is not an online casino where the program will automatically leave the casino in the black no matter what you do. In sports betting, for example, you bet on Barcelona in the game against Juventus and immediately turning on the TV you can honestly check whether your bet worked. Everything else, in my opinion, is aimed at making the player lose much more than he earned.
I want to emphasize that this is only my opinion and everyone makes conclusions and choices solely for themselves.
Wisdom to all and God bless you!

Casino is not the only place to game. As a mater of fact you can play at any place, for instance in someone house, in his narrow circle, thus withing that circle the game should be such a kind, that could exclude manipulation by its own nature. Chess could be an example of such game. That is what I meant to say.
Yes, that is just it. We can play game at anywhere even without using money. If money or anything valuable is not involved but just playing the game for nothing more than entertaining yourselves, provably fair is not what to look for in the game as the chance of you people to win is 50:50. Unlike casinos games that 50:50 percentage chance game will favour the casino like casino 60:40 to you. Also if you are gambling with someone and not casino, provably fear is not also talked about in such game unless the person is acting like a casino and have advantages against you just like as it is in casinos.

Very correct answer.

In fact, I don't really understand the question OP raised. I mean, fair as that defines it. or, fair with what kind of game evidence we can present as the basis for this question. The problem is, as we agree, every game has been designed in such a way by the developer and casino according to the system they use and implement. Anyway, I'm speaking from a layman's perspective regarding what fair play looks like. As far as I know, casino games have been designed in such a way for its users. Likewise with other bets, for example sports. I had difficulty proving fairness in this admission, so I captured the points as you mean in this post. It has been claimed that this may be related to fraud and manipulation, unfortunately how can we prove it. Maybe, there are members here who can respond to the OP's thread with their knowledge. because, for me, a game is a game, which means there are wins and losses. Whatever the gambling, there are only two consequences in gambling, losing and winning. Apart from that, what I know is based on my experience. In gambling there is risk, I mean that the ratio of losing is higher than the probability of winning. This doesn't mean that casinos are cheating, especially ones that have a trustworthy reputation. as for things being unfair, perhaps the OP should review the casino and question its reputation. Unfortunately, it is difficult for us to prove that unless fraud occurs. So we agree that it is more ideal to consider gambling as entertainment, but responsibility is needed so as not to cause something enjoyable to become very detrimental, meaning losing due to lack of responsibility and self-control.

Well, I play any game regardless of it being marketed as a provably fair game or not.

Probably fair games, do they depend solely and exclusively on luck or on skills too?
The reality is wherever you're skilled or not, you'll still need a bunch of luck per win you make. I am winning more with sports betting than of casino games and other type of games that mostly rely on luck.

While you can have a better chance there because you need to work on your choosing before you place a bet. But still, you're probably going to say "luck, please come with me".
