From now philippines are became more modern in comes of technology like electric cars that's why oil industry will be going down not likely going down but their income will not like they use to.
Of course. Electric vehicles will destroy the oil industry because it helps thier consumers save more by not consuming gasoline. All they have to do is to chaege thier vehicles for 5 hours max and they can use it for how many miles. It is a great invention for everyone.

It will be good for respective drivers and to our environment in general but it will be a burden to oil industry. What more if government will declare to use electronic cars someday; but I don't think this will happen for they earn profit from it.

e-Vehicle is becoming the new main thing now which is bad for the oil companies, but acquiring e-Vehicles would really help in progress to the future, but it may took a very long time before they can oust the oil runned vehicles, theres a big difference between an e-vehicle and a vehicle run in oil. So it will take a long time before oil industry to fall down.
Of course they are, oil is going nowhere in the long run.

Oil industry i not worried or not even a threat to electric cars. Gasoline-powered vehicles are still the most widely used cars because of its ability to run faster and in longer distance. While electric cars, there are still lot of disadvantages. The charge is limited only to certain distance and after that, where are you going to charge if you run out of electricity in the middle of the forest. You cannot even carry a replacement battery for that. Unlike gasoline, you can have extra gallon every time you travel. So. There is always an advantage and disadvantage in both source of cars. Gasoline produce a percentage in air pollution that intake by human, and animals. That result to some illness, and diseases.
Electric cars is quiet good than gasoline cars coz its not produce a big percentage in air pollution.

It will affect the oil industry. Its popularity will be going down, but some power plants is powered by oil. If we patronise electric cars the more we consume electricity. Because of the high demand of people in electricity, the more the power plants demand in the oil industry. So I think maybe it will go down but not that totally. So. It might be, but not yet. The number of people using oil powered vehicle is much more superior than the ones using EV. Not only that there oil are used in many more things except vehicles. Maybe in the future when everyone adopts renewable energy we can see oil fall.

While the batteries may now be one of the weaknesses of the electric cars, it is also true that the engine itself is one of the (many) weak componentes on combustion vehicles. I would very much like to see how the Tesla truck stand the test of time and the test of the many miles that a professional trucker can do in a short time. If it survives and is profitable, it will be a game changer.

In the first look, yes electric cars are really bad for oil companies. Because increasing of electric cars reducing oil consumption. So the oil companies are going to face a serious crisis. But on the other hand, electric cars are really appreciatable for environment's sake. Because they don't pollute the environment.
I don't think that oil industry losing many money nowadays because of electric cars but later they probably can lost a lot. Many people still not using electric engines.
