This is possible in principle. Many of the crypto projects that closed in 2017 and successfully collected investments for the implementation of their project, faced serious technological problems, which prevented them from gaining recognition at the crypto market.

ICO will continue to run and growing, because I think there will be a lot of companies competing in blockchain technology, and that will affect the number of ICOs, because with the ICO, a company will be more advanced because it adopts a new technology that is Blockchain, if ico dont uses blockchain theory , dont invest it and also in some country already regulation so ico will be legal there and i dont think if someone start the business or new project they dont want to end

In fact there are not many new ideas but useless ICO come out every day. You need to be prepared that of 2-3 ICO will be in a month but it will be qualitative.

I don't think ICO will end. Most of the good coin, which are assest for the crypto, came from the ICO! From Ethereum, NEO, IOTA and most of the coins had an ICO! Blockchain technology still not too big, We need lots of project on the blockchain technology! So, We need ICO projects! ICO will not end , rather it will stay until the crypto market dies.

The system itself is very cool! Investment in new companies! I think in the future will be able to replace the IPO, but not now. Now a lot of projects lose their price after entering the stock exchange! It scares investors away!

Yes, it is theoretically possible. But most likely, this will not happen in the next few years as the market for ICO projects has just begun to develop.

Sooner or later, but everything comes to its end. ICOs will vanish one day. Better say, they will be transformed into something different. However, these projects will live for many years before it happens.

I think that ICOs should not end, they are new blood for crypto market. If we want to develop market we should support good projects.

For ICO now the future. I agree that it is now impossible to control, but it seems to me that those investors who have decided on this, understand all the risks. They know perfectly well how to behave in such situations.

I think better methods could come to the spotlight, but currently ICOs are giving results, so for a few years they would be  ok ways of promoting projects.

I think ICOs will evolve one day. Some of them will end because of competitors. As an investor, we have to be careful.

of course, as soon as everyone realizes that, in fact, ico is too overpriced (especially when it comes to collection figures)

You are right, at the moment ICOs are heavily overpriced and the investors pay the high price when trying to sell these projects on the exchanges. This year was a desaster, i also was very unlucky. I think we will see a lot less people investing in the future until the prices are getting to a point where people can make profits again.

When, probably, the whole market of promising projects will be already occupied, there will be no interesting ideas ... Then such financing will die out.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I have one question that really bug me sometimes, Are ICOs going to end or new ideas and projects will emerge along with ICOs. Many of us actually rely on bounty to earn other than investing. As long as there is ICO I believe there will be bounty. It will be a sad day for us if ICOs are declared officially dead.

Maybe not the end, it is decreasing over time. There were many ICOs that turned to be a scam icos, this is the main cause of reducing ico activities.
What we must do is to prevent more scam icos enter the crypto. Investors must do their due diligence before investing, so the scam icos will not gain anything in crypto world.

It is quite possible. Since many of the projects that closed in 2017, faced serious technological problems. From the beginning (for example, security or scalability). And it was this that prevented them from gaining recognition in the market.

My advice is one of the most important things that investors should pay attention to. Before you make funds within the ICO. Can the token attract users' attention and how much will it be applied within the real economy.

Before making any conclusions and claiming that the era of primary proposals has come to an end, it is necessary to consider the exact reasons why many new projects have not achieved success. I think this is not the end.

An initial coin offering (ICO) or initial currency offering, a type of crowdfunding using cryptocurrencies, is a means of raising capital that has been prone to scams and securities law violations, and with this i don't believe ICO are gonna end someday, there maybe some restriction.

Perhaps one day the ICO will be eliminated again. Because there are too many coins in the crypto world. People who make or invest ICO will be transferred to coins that already exist, but have a low cost.
