Anything goes through three main sections. It's development, saturation, and death.Currently, ETH is in a saturation stage after a boom boom from 2017. And in the future if there is another form, the ICO will die.
I also think that the ICO will end because there are now more ICOs that end in scams, and will continue to grow over time so it will die for the ICO project in the future.

I have one question that really bug me sometimes, Are ICOs going to end or new ideas and projects will emerge along with ICOs. Many of us actually rely on bounty to earn other than investing. As long as there is ICO I believe there will be bounty. It will be a sad day for us if ICOs are declared officially dead.
I think ICOs will not end easily because there are lots of projects that are queing for launch and there are lots of investors that are waiting for a new projects so they can invest or buy tokens at lower price.
ICO must change. In the today's format, they wait for slow death. As ETH. But I think that team's who will be able to offer another vision and different ways than they will begin a new era of ICO. Today I don't imagine what it can be. But I hope the world has enough smart people for such decisions
I think as long as this space still exists, ICO wont end because there will always be new project and new reasons to solve any newly identified problems of this current world. The competiton will keep going on. There can only be modified and changes but it won't end.
ICO must continue to demonstrate evidence that they are a legitimate project. Some crypto projects have suspended their work in the ICO due to the fact that investors lose the credibility of the other scammers of ICO.

Yes I think it will end. Especially with the uncontrolled rise of new ICOs that we have by the day. A time will come when people will no longer invest in these ICos and most of them will run out of market.
Nobody really know what's going to happen to ICO! I will like to think ICO is still in it's infancy and we may still have the next five years growing ICO ecosystem! It may end there or take off from there.
I don't think so that ICO's will end rather it will remains forever because the new projects will be always came and launched in future. Because now the whole world considering about this and Governments going to make regulations for it. And according to me after these regulations the scam projects will disappear from market and only genuine ICO's will came and remain. Rather i believe that market will develop with full of genuine ICO's with new crypto regulations in the coming years.

But another ICO will take a place again as long as there are new companies who want to collecting the funds for their new project.
All things must come to an end. Even the entire cryptocurrency will have to end eventually. But that doesn't always mean in a bad way, I believe it will be replaced with something much more better and much more efficient. Maybe we can see a new and improved type of ico in the future.
This is a strong possibility as most investors do not care about a project and see ICOs as a chance to make some quick bucks. ICOs may become obsolete in the long term as projects may gather a community get big investors to invest in their project and then organize airdrops for more circulation. This proved successful for projects like polymath and is a good frame work to work with.

ico is definitely going to end, because too much ico is a scam that makes people not interested in investing in ico. many ico projects are not mature and they are in a hurry to launch ico, just because of money. this makes investors very disappointed and they are reluctant to invest in ico again.
