Recently I recieved many airdropped from new projects of NFT tokens, Some are in good prices
like BAY and XPUNK, but many other NFT tokens are falling and rugged. But I know mostly of NFTs are based on hyped project,
and no one knows what will be the future of them.
Is it better to trade NFT tokens rather than holding it for longterm?
NFT was victorious for a while, but I see now that the NFT project is not so popular anymore, maybe because of the competition in the crypto market that makes NFT tokens not widely enjoyed, but there are some good APE good opportunities in the future.

However, I think NFT tokens are still enjoyed by fans, it's just that you have to look at the potential NFT tokens in the crypto market, for investment.

I didn't expect much from NFT. Because for me NFT is not for long term investment. but only more to the valuable collection. But maybe everyone has different thoughts regarding NFT. and maybe some make it a long-term investment. but I guess not much. but there are some people who are lucky. buy NFT cheaply and because of the hype the price of NFT is high. so get a lot of benefits.

Actually, if we can use NFT properly, NFT can generate good profit for us. But because NFT has been developing for quite a long time in the crypto
world, so don't expect too much from NFT. Since there is a possibility that NFT will be replaced by a newer trend, it is likely that people will start
switching to a new trend. After all, the crypto world often appears new trends, so don't be too optimistic about NFT. So I agree with you, that NFT is
worth investing, but not for long term investment. I recommend NFT for short term investment, which is if we buy NFT projects and the price has
gone up, then we must immediately take profit. So as not to regret if the price suddenly drops, because in my opinion only top coins are feasible
for long-term investments.

NFTs can be useful for fast profit, but it's not advised to hold them for too long. All the examples around indicates us this fact and I could mention Axie Infinity's SLP and the Axies themselves as examples. It means even successful and long lasting projects are subject to devaluation, what at same time doesn't mean these NFTs are dead or useless, though.

Just like the other trendy things before in crypto, profitable but not meant for long-term holding and investments.

Anyways, that should serve as a good reference to anyone that a certain hype will eventually fade. If that hype will return, no one knows.

Much better that while spending time and money on trends like NFT or on the future trends that will appear in the crypto-world, use also your resources learning how to trade as that's only the best and proven way to earn profits out from the heavy crypto-market volatility.

pursuing new trends in the market is also considered a good investment, as long as you catch it and be a pioneer in the trend, you will

make a profit
in addition to learning how to trade to increase profits, we can also become real holders, holding bitcoin and top coins will also bring good returns if we hold and trust into them

I'm just seeing this thread now for the first time.

After doing NFT-related stuff for the last 8 months, I can tell you that some are absolutely positioned to be great long-term investments, macro-economic factors aside.

However, 99.999% of all NFTs will not be worth anything in the long-term.

How do you know which ones are good long-term investments?

I invite all who are interested to come check out my Historical NFT thread to learn for yourself.

If the price is good in your opinion, don't hesitate to sell it, nft is pure hype that is trying to build in the project community, only a few can be held in the long term, and even then it is difficult to find, for me nft is the same as meme tokens in general.

It's still can be argued that NFT arts in general are such bad long term investment, quite literally they're lacking liquidity in many sides, it's different with NFT gaming though, they mostly have humongous liquidity, though their economic model should sustain themselves otherwise they gonna fall eventually.
I think if it's long term you better invest in smart contract alts, since they're the ones that usually shows huge increase in value in the long run and usually at bullish run.
well, apart from that the current development of NFT is not like the first time NFT was introduced. enough changes to make the current high price of NFT quite cheap. other than that, not too many people discuss NFT nowadays. I think, this is the same as the ICO a few years ago.
however, if you want to invest in the long term, it's best to choose the obvious coins like bitcoin, and ethereum, or even popular coins. personally, I would not choose NFT for long term investment.

Like you said, you got most of your NFTs from the airdrops so I would recommend to just sell it afterwards once you receive it from airdrops. Since NFTs are just based on hype so the more you hold it especially from airdrops then it's just most likely the price will going down everyday. You would probably have gotten decent money if you just sold it instead of holding it if I would say.
Very good suggestion. It's better to sell NFTs as soon as you acquire them for bitcoin, ethereum or any other crypto investment which is going to return profit thinking on long term.

Often the trend of the crypto world changes, so the NFT trend will end eventually. Moreover, I see that during the bear market situation this year,
the performance of NFT projects has decreased significantly and there is no more hype on NFT. But that does not mean that investing in NFT is
not profitable, but that NFT is not a good project for long-term investment. However, for long-term investment we must choose projects that have
a good reputation, and also proven to be profitable in the long term. While the NFT trend has not appeared too long ago, different from old projects
like BTC and ETH, both of which have been in the crypto market for more than a decade. This has proven that BTC and ETH are more feasible and
reliable for long-term investments.

Right now, things are slow because the market is not good. According to my friend, he said last year and early this year, he sold and made thousands of dollars from NFTs.
NFTs are not only hyped but they all have some value. Some are more valuable than others. It just depends on their supply, art and name. Presently, projects are adding NFTs to their project new features

NFTs noise has hyped down because we're in the bearish season. NFTs are still good investments yet they aren't profitable in the long run. Most of them still need improvement and development and if they polish their purpose, I believe that there will come a time where in NFTs will be also worth holding but as of now, they still can't resist the bearish season so better buy well-established coins.
We are almost nearing the end of the NFT trend as the profit noise from NFT has turned high losses for some investors, I don't like NFT investing because NFT trends are no different from Defi or other trends that can be lost for altcoin investment interest. So focus on investing in top coins, only Bitcoin and altcoins top ETH and BNB.

It all depends on the project in particular because there are some NFT projects that are for short time and most time the dev or team in charge do abandon the project for another one or they can leave the project if they are able to get what they want. I don't suggest an NFT project to be a long time one because they are easily be abandoned by the team. The NFT market is still new and many people are jumping on it because it has a fast money to be made. NFT market is just like a gold mine that needs small effort.

NFT does have a "token" word from its "T" acronym so don't repeat it Cheesy
If you do so, it will be "Non-Fungible Token Token" lol.

Kidding aside, gain/loss from a NFT project will depend on the project itself. If it's Play to Earn, or invest, play, and earn game type of NFT expect it to have some hype in some period of time and then lose it's value overtime unless these projects will be able to find solution to retain the good economy of their token(s) for themselves, their players, and investors.

It is better to trade NFT token in short time. I didn’t like to invest in NFT token for long term because NFT projects cannot survive in the market for long.  Initially these projects create a lot of hype and grab a large share of the market but after some days the hype doesn't last.  Then the price of NFT tokens started to fall. so i advice you do not hold NFT token for long term

Ithink nft is not good for long term because nft is for short term for me quick win money and quick lose money. Nft is for hype people not for long term.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
The NFT market continues to grow, this is a good opportunity for those of us who want to invest in NFT, when compared to the conventional coin of the NFT market, it looks stronger and can rise even though there are many red coins, and currently I have NFT with a total of about 30% of Total Crypto Assets.

As everyone has their own way of investing, I'm not saying that NFT is junk or has no utility to anyone, but you have to agree with me that NFT is mainly used for hype and dumping purposes. NFT platforms as well as NFT products are also seeing a drop in value of up to 95%, investing in NFT right now is really risky.
If the NFT continues to grow after the bear season is over, I will invest a bit in it.

It is true that NFT sector has not performed to the expectation of investors during the past 6 months. The reason behind it is overall bearish trend in crypto industry industry where price of Bitcoin has lost its value more than 70% but during the last we have seen some recovery which is a good sign. The developers in NFT sectors are working day and night to make it an attractive investment by improving its use case which will definitely create demand in this sector.
